I was reading something about this the other day (although only on wikipedia). Think it said that Bayern were the biggest fan-supported club with (Sporting?) Lisbon having the most members. Not having a good day with facts so I'm probably wrong.

Also annoyed to see that Czech tv is not showing our game on boxing day (but they are showing St. Johnstone v Celtic).

Edit: it appears to be Benfica not Sporting Lisbon.

It seems strange to me how the emphasis has moved to excusing the actions of the owner through his poor grasp of English and the general situation he has created. I clearly recall many of us being disappointed, not just with the name-change, but with the way we had been deliberately lied to and deceived. The denials by NT and the promises from the meeting (still no minutes), the changes to letterheads, signs and instructions given to away fixtures about how to refer to us. It has been one long progression of lies, deceit and manipulation that has resulted in NT leaving, AA being shown for what he is and the club being brought into national and international disrepute. I laugh, when I recall all of the earlier comments by campaign reps, that they now say they have no issue with the ownership of AA; his money has bought their silence on the handling issues, that is all that has changed. Was he dubbed over in the various interviews he gave; was someone misrepresenting his views - I think not. If you are happy for him to piss on your boots while he shakes your hand then crack on, it's noted.

We expressed sympathy to Cardiff City fans for the treatment of Malky Mackay which you disagreed with as its meddling in the affairs of a football club. The reason we did so was because, from the outside we thought he'd done a decent job. You disagreed, and both taken together resulted in you ripping up your membership card.

I don't see anything wrong is saying Malky Mackay seems to have done a good job and expressing sympathy with Cardiff City fans for the way he had been treated on our blog.

Just because I'm pissed off with AA's actions and the appalling way he's treated the fans, it doesn't mean I want him gone.

He's the owner of the club and if we have any realistic aspirations of re-opening a dialogue with him, then we need to remember that, whatever nonsense he comes out with.

What happens with Malky Mackay is no different to any other manager, why does a name-change campaign feel it is relevant for them to pass comment on his managerial abilities? If you had of limited your comments to the strip-change I could have seen some faint connection, even though it is pretty much a done deal and their supporters took it with a whimper. So is this the template for the future, then? Some club has issues with their manager and CTWD will make a blog offering their sympathy to the fans. If you think that is the way forward, then crack on. Part and parcel of football is the manager merry-go-round, Cardiff will deal with theirs, if and when it happens, we should get on with getting the points needed for survival and if that means taking advantage of any Cardiff fallout then so-be-it.

Would the minutes of the Assem Allam meeting if they were ever produced, say that Not 606 Hull City forum where represented?
I was surprised to hear that this forum wasn't on the list, But the Premier Executive Club was.

What the **** is going on!

Okay, let's get back to reality. I have never said you or anyone else should wish to get rid of him, I have said that I would welcome him gone in the right circumstances, that is my view and I don't attach it to anyone else. What I have said is that his dishonesty and manipulation should not be swept under the carpet, as it is now. I think being pissed off at his actions and his treatment of the fans does indicate a bit of an issue with his ownership; if not, what does he have to do.

Your last comment seems to indirectly answer my earlier questions, in that there is no dialogue. Your tact and avoidance seems not to be impressing him, just as your intention to accept any nonsense he throws your way doesn't impress me.

We have nothing in common with Barcelona other than the fact that we play football as well.

Would Hull City supporters accept Hull City Sporting Club?

We have been in contact with Cardiff City supporters from before day 1. We see the similarities between their campaign over the strip change and ours over the name. They have signed our petition and supported our campaign on twitter. When the news broke about Mackay we offered sympathy because we thought he had done a decent job for them.

No other clubs supporters have given us the same levels of support, so as far as I'm concerned we will not be joining the managerial merry go round and commenting on every sacking (or non sacking in the case of Cardiff City).

A long term fan involvement in the ownership is a stated aim of AA as well as CTWD. I'm not sure that CTWD having it included as a long term possibility (subject to members' agreement) counts as wanting to replace AA any more than it counts as wanting to work with him to achieve what he's said he wants in that area.

I think I'm right in saying we weren't formally in the FLAG group either. We had PLT and OLM on the panel but unless I'm wrong they were representing other groups and carrying our views as a courtesy rather than a formal thing. (courtesy isn't exactly what I mean, but you get the idea).

I don't know if it's the fact it's the nature of us as a more passive group in terms of running the site. We have the mods on here but there's no involvement in the administration of the site to give a clear indication of someone being in charge where the groups represented have founders that can be seen as giving it some structure whilst we're a bit ragtag.

So we were not officially represented, because we do not run this site?

Seeing as we're by far the biggest and most active hull city forum there is, it's a bit off we don't really get recognised. But I think a lot of the users in here are also users of and represented by other groups.

I don't use any other forums, I don't see the point when this is by at the most active and anything worth knowing gets posted on here anyway.

This board was represented, the Premier Club wasn't.

The attendees were not606, CI, AN, OSC, HCSS, Tigerlink, Tigers Co-op, CTWD(x3), AA and Ash Lord.
