Some people may need a look at this -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/ - to remind them of where Everton are in the League. You won't find a poor side in the top four. Yet people expect us to turn such clubs over.
Everton are having a great season and recently have drawn away to Arsenal and turned Man U over at Old Trafford. We played them without Michu, Rangel, Vorm and Dyer - four key players for the Swans.
Personally I thought it was a great game of technical football, with Everton always having the upper hand due to their extra speed/physical strength. Dyer is a huge loss for us as he is our key "speedster" - without him our attack has severe limitations.
Yet we took on Everton, gave them a good game - and a great strike from Lamah matched by a great save from Howard was the decider which gave Everton the victory. My only disappointment was that some of the 50/50 challenges were easily won by Everton - and indirectly led to their first goal.
There are times when you have to say we were beaten by a better team - and today we were.
So for the MOANERS we now have to play the following teams in the Premiership:
Chelsea (away)
Aston Villa (away)
Man City (home)
Man United (away)
Last season we amassed 1 point from those four fixtures (in fact we had one point from 5 games if we include todays opponents, Everton).
EXPECT A SIMILAIR RETURN (if we are lucky) in the next fortnight. Anyone calling for Laudrups head after that run is no better than VINCENT TAN.
