Considering they were the home team, and had a player on their bench which cost DOUBLE the amount of our patched up starting 11 then it makes our win even more remarkable

But you had a player in the treatment room who's paid more than any of their players, so it may not be quite as remarkable as you say. Although, on hearing Maiga scored an actual goal, I did mange to spit a mouthful of coffee over my newspaper! #HorrorShock

I doubt that's true. I also doubt you have anything to back up that statement.

Andy Carrol is supposedly on 80k a week, which is a lot, but I find it hard to believe there are no Spurs players on more.

Soldado, for one, is said to be on 100k.

I'm not sure Soldado will be on that much, wages in Spain are a pittance aside from Real and Barca and Valencia are virtually broke. Plus, I think Adebayor is the top earner on just over 100,000 grand.

Massive game for Sunderland today. Lose to Norwich and they will be badly adrift with twodifficult away matches at Everton and Cardiff before new year.

I'm beginning to think Sunderland may just do it.

They could, but it depends who spends what in January. I don't know how much Short be able to risk though because he spent so much on PDC, and wages are already high. We didn't have many more points at this point last year...but we were probably a better team.
