His edgy business manner and alienation of his core supporters by insults and crassness will be seen in years to come as a masterstroke. If the Cardiff Redbirds and the Hull Tigers play each other in League 1 in a few years, the full houses at both grounds will still be singing their names in adulation. Need a ticket for the hottest game in town? No chance. So mr Rodgers - you stick with your outmoded beliefs and your boring Liverpool F.C. whilst I proudly watch the Hull Tigers at places like Milton Keynes or Walsall. Let your club's fans live in the dark ages and be respected by you and the owners. Leave the revolution to the risk takers and the forward thinkers, the year zero Pol Pots of the footballing world.
