Just read through the stuff on NewsNow regarding ER/TA etc, and Haigh looking to spend £15m on purchasing ER back. If he can pull that off he will have me as a fan, as long as he's doing it for the right reasons. The articles in the YEP/YP really do show a smelly side of Bates, panick from Krasner but who can blame him, and the usual offshore shell companies owned and operated by key players like Ken Bates and Jack Petchy and Jacob Adler. Teak Trading; how many times has this offshore outfit raised its ugly head in conjunction with Bates and simply because Jacob Adler owns Teak Trading and is mates with Bates and Teak owns ER and TA. in 2009 we were in the process of triggering the 'buy-back' clause for £6m on TA, so sold Delph, but Bates didn't want to use the Delph money because he wanted that for himself, so he went cap in hand to the council who blew him off. So the deal didn't happen and the clause has now expired so if we want to buy it back we need to pay the going rate, which is huge. Well done you robbing twat Bates. The buy-back clause for ER is however still in place until 2029 and a deal can be done if someone comes up with the cash. So Bates and mates have recieved £2m per year for TA/ER since 2004, not a bad deal is it and no wonder Bates didn't want to buy it back as he was earning shed loads for doing nothing and he could blame the council at the same time. Twat
Good article on the BBC about Southampton's rise to prominence if anyone's interested: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25420261 A really, really well run club. I'd like to think we're aiming to go a similar direction now
Good afternoon my take on the ground it smells like BATES bought the ground and charged the club over 10% interest with the rent he received this would be typical of him plus increasing the purchase price each year he was on awin win situationoh how I hate that man so much so that when I don't feel too good I think I must outlive that B....... He never received a penny from me all the time he was in charge Gradel must make sure hes fit as he has had 2 serious injuries since he left
Dont think that ones rocket science. Billionniare owner buys club Owner finds out he has terminal illness Owner dies, leaving club with a lot of money
Re the u21 game, we have taken highly-rated former Peterborough striker Shaquille McDonald on trial. McDonald, who was released seven months into a four year deal at The Posh, partners Dominic Poleon up-front today.
Yer looks that way,as they don't throw 4 year contracts around but then why release him from it.wouldn't they have to pay him out unless he's done something wrong.
Has anyone else noticed that a couple of months ago we were the same number of points off the top as we were off the bottom. This last couple of months however has seen us only be a constant 9-points off the top spot and a whopping 18-points off the bottom. You heard it here first folks - we're safe this season already Lets hope for a couple of weeks with great results, whilst the teams above falter. Lets hope that the sale of the club goes through and the manager gets that 'war chest' we heard so much about but never saw for 8-years. lkets hope the sale of the ground puts it back in our hands. Lets hope a new high profile, multi-billion company invests in our push for world domination again. Happy Xmas and more grog please

Football hooligan Aaron Cawley walked free from court after a violent and unprovoked attack on two women. The 22-year-old admitted barging Rebecca Smark into a shop window before slapping her friend Jade Dyson across the face during a drunken night out. Cawley of Blenheim Square in Cheltenham hit headlines when he slapped Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland during a televised match against Leeds United in October, last year. Prosecutor Julian Kesner told the court the two 25-year-old women were enjoying a night out in the early hours of June 2 on Cheltenham’s Promenade when they were joined by a group of men. He told the court: “It is not clear what the defendant’s motivation was. Whether it was women hating or to try to provoke the men who had joined them. “He barged into two of the women, with such force that Miss Smart was pushed into a window. “He started shouting, it is not clear why. But the Crown says this was an utterly unprovoked attack on Miss Smart. “She gets out her phone to call police and at that moment Miss Dyson started talking to him – demanding to know what he was doing and why he pushed her friend. It was then he slapped her around the face.” Cawley pleaded guilty to two counts of common assault on the day of his trial. He has 24 previous convictions for 43 offences, including the football pitch attack which saw him jailed for four months and given a lifetime ban from Leeds United.
