The phone call I just got

 

If you answer a call and there's complete silence for a few seconds, you might as well hang up!

 

I hang up if there is silence, if there is a lot of background noise, or if the person has a foreign accent (especially from the subcontinent). I just hang up....never engage them in any conversation.

 

Tbf, I didn't know about it either until some gal told me about it.

 

SnapChat involves sending pictures to be seen for up to ten seconds but cannot be saved, attached with a bit of text. I need to get it for the lols!

Ugh, Peter Hitchens is quite unbearable. Was on Newsnight (with Matthew Perry, or Chandler from Friends) trying to argue that alcoholism and drug addiction aren't real things.

 

I'll have to check that out. I find it quite entertaining how much of a **** he is.

To be fair to Matt, that's the only way to argue with Hitchens. No matter what you say he's going to try to belittle you by criticising the way you argue rather than actually commenting on the content of what you're saying. Once you've made your point you may as well just sit and insult him until time's up.
