Leicester are one of the only other active championship boards, so thought I'd wind them up a bit and get some chat going ;)
I think they'll come unstuck. It'll be nice to see them get a good pasting Vs City on Tuesday too!
be interesting to see if they play full strength against City, knowing they will get done bad

A win and they're through to the semis, I wonder if their fans will accept anything less than a full strength side?
Then again, they're about to face the best side in the championship. It might be advisable to save their best side so they don't get quite as embarrassed at our gaff.

We are going to get dicked by Man City, they put 6 past Arsenal and Spurs in the last month, i would have no problem with Pearson resting some players for Saturday.

As for Saturday, a draw for us would be better than a draw for you guys, eg. Burnley getting a draw last Saturday was worse for us.

Man City at the Ethiad and Man City away are 2 completely different sides

They look fragile away from home. At home they look unstoppable

I admire your optimism Proud.

But in their last away game they beat the European Champions with their reserves.

Dont get me wrong they still have world class players on the 2nd team and James Milner

I expect us to give them a game but them to come out on top.

Wheres Sol Bamba when you need him?

James Milner is a fantastic footballer.

People who don't think that don't watch him closely enough.

There is a reason why he's played ahead of some brilliant footballers for Club and Country.

You decided to carry on with the naivety rather than the merging? Fair enough!

Looked bloody fragile away from home beating the European Champions didn't they ! :-)

Dont make me laugh. Milner is an average prem footballer. Like Tom Cleverley for Man U

Nice little player but no real qualities. Milner is reliable and dependable but nothing special at all

In other words a solid citizen, every team needs some of them, but naive fans don't realise it !

Oh the irony <laugh>

A QPR fan saying how to build a team

Nope can't see the "irony ".. You do know I haven't built a QPR team don't you!
Novice chairmen can also be naive and managers called Hughes can certainly be ****.
You know who does know how to build a team though??? ;-)

QPR have been a very poorly managed club for a very long time. Too many owners who don't understand football.

They have made poor decisions. Neil Warnock got you a squad fighting for the same thing. Mark Hughes ****ed you over and Harry is just working with a disjointed squad. Doing a very good job considering

Quality wise you should be walking this league. I think you will take the league still

Hi Grifter,

Good idea, would be nice to generate some more cross-board activity. It's a bit lonely over here these days, now that Hull Tigers have left us for pastures new.

My dad is a QPR fan, grew up just round the corner from Loftus Road and has supported the club all his life. So obviously I always have a bit of a soft spot for you, and look out for your results.

I think you'll probably beat us to be honest. I'm going to take a crazy punt on it finishing 1-0 <laugh>

You my friend are a scholar & a gentleman, and are welcome down Loftus Road anyday!

It's very much the same with us, we used to get an awful lot of stick from Norwich and Swansea...and resented it at the time. But weirdly, I kind of miss it. It makes matches that bit more meaningful when there's some of rivalry bubbling below the surface. I thought I'd get in early whilst both our fixtures are yet to be played- you guys have taken it in the spirit of things, fair play to ya!

... a fair summary - unfortunately Milner has also suffered from the over-hype that has been aimed at England generally for a decade ... he is not alone ... Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, Ferdinand, Ashley Cole even Rooney (who is / was arguably the pick) ... all very good club players but only average on the world stage ... some won't like it but our major tournament performances don't lie ... which of them would have got in a world eleven picked by a non Englishman over the last ten years? ... Rooney at one point maybe perhaps even Gerrard at one point ... I wouldn't have picked any of them to be honest - far better players out there from other countries I'm sad to say ...
