We need a few more female officials so people can stop highlighting Sian Massey all the time. She's the only linesperson commentators bother referring to by name.

She got every single decision right in the last game at St Marys, something most of the rest couldn't claim.

I'm very pleased we have Sian Massey as an assistant, I think she's the best assistant referee in the league.

Most probably could though, just no one remembers their name because they are all blokes (and bald, for some reason).

The reason is that they are streamlined, less hair less wind resistance, so they can zoom up and down, always keeping up with play......... hang on, I am going to have to rethink that one.

Can you imagine Merson, with Manuel Pellegrini, Mauricio Pochettino and Mauricio Pellegrino?

    Jeez.

When doing a review of the Newcastle v Saints game he tripped himself up over Yoan Gouffran, calling him Gooffan, Goofon, Gooffan, sorry. All the while appearing to suck a sweet to hide his inability to pronounce any word with more than two syllables. Or maybe it was those ever developing hangdog jowls. :)

Sounds like Malky Mackay has been told to resign or be sacked.

Be an idiot to resign...he will get more money if sacked. Terrible job for someone to take.

That Cardiff owner is a lunatic. West Brom is the obvious choice now for Malky.
