Not really mate. Not been in the bottom 3 all season and almost at the half way point. Second half of the season will be much better with Carrol back and our January signings.

Anyway. Whats happened to your lot? Forgotten how to win it seems?

Draws against City and Newc with half our first 11 out! Better than your last two.

Happy with our last two games Trix...a draw against Citeh (who battered top of the table Arsenal today) and a draw at Newcastle (who beat Manure at OT last week) despite missing several key players out injured and you're lamenting just missing one player...;)

I must say I'm extremely excited to see who you sign in the January window Trixter. Get Carrol back and running off full horsepower and you'll hoof up the league I'm sure.

According to Dirty Dave Sullivan today, they couldn't really afford Carroll...maybe they'll get a few free transfers in!

Be interesting to see what team Fat Sam plays in the cup tonight. He's despereately short of players and can't afford any more inhjuries with Man U and Arsenal their next two PL games.

Good win for Wset Spam even if decidedly against the run of play. Just wonder how many Hammers fans would swap the semi final spot for a few more PL points and safety.

Pretty sure they'd like the points, but, as bartering not an option, the fans must be well chuffed. They'll be hoping it's not like Wigan...cup and Europe with relegation.

    Afternoon Lambo.

Personally I wouldn't swap it. A cup semi final and a (outside) chance of A Wembley final are the rare occasions we all wait for as football fans.

Some say it can be a distraction from league games whereas others say the confidence and morale boost from a cup run can be beneficial. I don't know which side of the argument I agree with to be honest.

I don't think it's going to be a major problem anyway. Carrol looks like he isn't too far away. A couple of transfers and I'm confident we will climb the league and stay up comfortably.

Just as a side note, when you say we won against the run of play, what do you mean? They had more possession than us but we managed 8 shots on target compared to their 4.

Considering they were the home team, and had a player on their bench which cost DOUBLE the amount of our patched up starting 11 then it makes our win even more remarkable.

I think you will beat them easily on Sunday. I hope you do. They are an awful, awful club.

But you had a player in the treatment room who's paid more than any of their players, so it may not be quite as remarkable as you say. Although, on hearing Maiga scored an actual goal, I did mange to spit a mouthful of coffee over my newspaper! #HorrorShock
