For supporters of quite a few teams!

Although I'm far from old (according to my kids), I can recall a time when Utd were not successful. The hope and the aspiration of achievement were more appealing in some ways than the pressure of having to maintain success. Like Liverpool fans, the fear of failure is not that intimidating; the hope of rising again from a period in the wilderness (however short) is quite inspiring.

I'm lying <laugh>

My time of living at OT was the late 70s early 80s (five years without missing a home game including friendlies and testamonials) we were magnificent in my eyes, we won the odd FA cup and occasionally got near the top but every game was exciting. I think the next couple of years may get some of that feeling back.

I went to the 83 & 85 finals at Wembley, saw us slaughter Barca in 84 - and nothing has come close to the experience since (except the 1999 CL final).

That Failsworth Tesco is f**king rough. Are they all interbred?

Tesco attracts all the yobs that meet on the canal, Aldi is much more genteel and sedate strangely enough!

Arsenal are slowly being found out and reeled-in, as we all suspected they would be.

I rather suspected that the defeat to Napoli would be start of some sort of collapse, and it would appear that my suspicions were correct, thought there is still time for Arsenal to react and show if they have any character.

Mind you, there was a massive amount of luck about that goal. Can't see them being so fortunate again, however, not against this very strong and determined £ity side.

That's better from £ity. They go through the gears and put an end to the embarrassing "baby-rocking" antics of the Headless Chicken.

As I correctly predicted, the typical Arsenal luck will not work against true class.
