Is it time for Neil Lennon to move on .The board don't seem to match his ambitions .If he did who do think would replace him . Although I can't see it I would like to see Paul Lambert as manager

Firstly, no it's not time for Lennon to move on.
But if he were to leave, no chance of Lambert coming here unless he had been sacked down south. My money is on Jackie Mc as next Celtic manager.
I'm in no particular hurry to see him leave but if he did, then as AP says, Jackie Mac's the man.
I really don't think he will leave just now as he knows that he will get at least another crack at qualifying for the Champions League and I would have to agree that Jackie Mac is probably in the price range for the Celtic board but I would still prefer Paul Lambert or even Malky McKay

Translated into non bollocks. We're happy enough getting into the CL as that makes me loads of cash. Lennon doesn't have the clout to force that to change. In fact I rather think he buys into it. That is what is expected of him. That is par. Anything less is a failure and anything more reflects well on him.

I am not sure what your interest in this topic is. I would have thought
someone whose fellow fans threatened and tried to murder Lennon would
be too embarish to comment .
I also am in no hurry to see him go but I often think it is very seldom that a
manager can continue been successful after four years or so . I wouldn't be
surprised if he left before the end of the season . I am not sure about Jackie

recent experience in Europe .

I thought either lennon got his team selection badly wrong for the barca game , or he was saying to the board " look at what Ive got to work with " in a game that ultimately was meaningless.

My issue with the summer transfer budget is before the summer probably the one area we didnt think we needed a new signing was centre half. Wilson and Ambrose were ok and we had no notion that Wilson wanted away - yet we managed to get a centre half who is decent!Note - Lennon spent the money he got in the Summer poorly in my opinion.

That's not good enough when you have a small budget!
However every one of us could see Hooper and Wanyama were leaving. So we needed a striker and a midfielder. We knew we were missing a creative player as well - Lennon even said as much.
Now maybe Biton is Wanyamas replacement - but we had time to target and aquire a striker and a creative midfielder. As Pud says Pukki and Boerigter were panic buys - they shouldnt have been. They should have been scouted properly to ensure they could fit straight in.
Lennon has signed many duds. On a budget I guess its the risk you take. But if you cant get the people you want or the people you scout whom you know wont fit in - dont spend big on someone for the sake of it. I'd prefer Paul George and Atajic to get games than those 2 at the minute!!!
Lennon is a YES man (calm down Trev, were not talking independence) and his replacement, if there is one, would also be one

Cant really disagree here.
On that note, how much of a say you reckon Lennon has in signings? I mean 1 or 2 have been strange...date right back to Kapo and Ljunberg and now with Balde etc. Signed but never played. To me its like Lennon saying to the board what he has been given arent good enough....which aint right IMO. Manager should always have last say. Even if its to just not bother signing them....as well its pointless paying for them when they aint going to play
I'm happy with Neil Lennon to be honest. He's intelligent, articulate and I like the style football we play these days. I think he's matured over the past few years and would hope he'll be here for many more.
I can understand folks frustrations with regard to signings, but the fact of the matter is we cannot compete financially with championship clubs, never mind the big boys. It's no small task to convince players to come to play in Scotland. I like the way we are going about our business. Of course some players will be a success and some won't, but that happens at all levels. There's no guarantee a 'marquee' signing would be a hit and I reckon it's prudent to keep within manageable financial model.
We have no divine right to play with the big boys in the Champions League and every time we reach the group stages should be celebrated.

I've been saying for a while that we're playing a lottery at the level we are buying at. John Park was the greatest scout ever back in January when our squad was punching above its weight, now it's Neil Lennon's fault that he panic bought during the summer (using the same super scout). The advantage we have over the likes of Premier League clubs is that we can engage in trial and error freely without worrying about our league position, or at least a shot at European qualification in the following year. Last year was a success whereby we managed to unearth a few players who could actually compete at the CL level, this year at the level we are buying at we didn't manage to replace them (probably because there was no obvious cheap replacements, apart from maybe VVD). Next year I'm sure we'll have a bit of rebuilding process (especially if Sammy and Ledley leave) and it's anyone's guess how many potentially good players the £500k - £3m market will present to us. If there is **** all there we'll end up throwing a bit more money at a few more Pukkis and hope for the best - and the random luck of finding a good one or two will determine if we once again have the greatest scouting system in the world, with the best young manager.
