To be fair I didn't hope that you'd fail, I assumed you would and hoped that it was hands of Bale because I like Bale and don't like Arsenal. Apart from that I couldn't really give a fart what round you go out in and who it's against, I can't see you winning the thing so it doesn't matter to me.

It matters so little that you thought you'd reply explaining why it matters so little...? ;)

It's how sport forums work, someone says something and then you give your view on what they said. Do you care deeply about everything you write on here?

Yeah, a reply of 2 whole sentences! I'm obsessed with it! <yikes>

Anyway, the 2 sentences are about different things so technically it's 1 sentence. In the first I explained his misunderstanding of my original post and in the second I explained that apart from Bale playing against you guys I don't care what team you face or what round you go out in.

To save you another post, not caring what round you go out in or who it's against doesn't mean I won't enjoy it. I'll still enjoy it. Kind of like how I don't care if you misunderstand my posts, I'll enjoy replying regardless :)

Being happy to see the demise of another team could be construed as jealousy and a feeling of inferiority. Being chummy and respectful denotes a team you don't deem worthy of being a rival (eg. Fergie/United to Arsenal several times over the past 8 years).

On that note, I'd be quite happy if Spurs won Europa

You don't think Chelsea are a rival of yours for the CL? Perplexing. If anything they are more likely to win it than you.

It could be, it could also be simply a rivalry. When we were knocked out of the CL a round after you guys got to, I'm sure you were happy too. Not everyone sees it the same way but personally I'd rather where ever we are in the league, that you guys are near by as I think it's better when local rivals are closely matched.

Being friendly with another team isn't necessarily respectful, even if it's genuine. It's just as easy to be respectful by wanting them to lose as it shows you see them as it arguably shows you see them as serious contenders.

I very much doubt you'd be happy to see us win the Europa League, especially if you guys went another season without a trophy.

And I'm sure Goons were rejoicing when Chelsea won the CL meaning our 4th spot finish was irrelevant...even though it had **** all to do with them.

Trying to take the moral high ground with football usually means you end up with a boot up your moral arse as has happened to Cini <ok>

So when Man Utd fans celebrated City and Leeds getting relegated they were jealous and displaying their insecurities?
Yeah, of course they were! <laugh>

Just checked and there doesn't appear to be any boot near my arse...?

Do I smell Peskie in disguise.Go away.Your banned!

Check to see if he's naked, in a closet, furiously rubbing one out. If he is, that's definitely Peskie.

That's not me being provocative (before someone starts thinking about naughty-steps, again); the suggestion that PESKIE indulges in such perverse behaviour was handed down to us by one of his own fans.

Nonetheless... shoo! go away!
