Man utd fan in peace, just wondering if arsenal fans believe they will finish in the top 4 next season, at the moment it dosnt look like you addressing your problem areas, and also wondering would the fans accept winning throphys but playing a boring style of football?

Why does it have to be a choice between 'play attractive football and win nothing' and 'play like Stoke (and I would never want us playing like Stoke) and win something' - it's not a black and white thing in football,

And yes I think we will finish top 4 next year, Liverpool still have a way to go and as for Spurs, don't make me laugh.

I know it is To erly to call however the major teams seem to be getting there transfer sorted early (sometimes beating arsenal to the signing). The defensive names you have been linked with samba, I don't believe he is at the level of a top 4 team ( he wouldn't get into the city, united. And chelsea teams)
I believe arsenal biggest problem is character and mental strength and you need to pay a mentally strong midfielder, who can pick the team when your not winning or when your losing

No i didnt mean play like Stoke play the same attractive football, but in certain circumstances you will have try to play a bit dirty and get stuck in.

    (1) Although we're all frustrated at last season we were 2nd or 3rd for most of the season and only fell away at the end (not like we scrapped 4th).
    (2) We had alot of young players making their breakthrough season who will hopefully improve next year
    (3) Vermaelen missed the whole season, doubt you'd have won the league missing Vidic all season
    (4) I hope we sign the players we need as soon to give us confidence of improving on next season but to turn the question back on you how do you feel about the long term health of your club? You are having great success but Ferguson doesn't have much longer left and you've got horrific debts. I'm confident about the long term health of Arsenal in comparison to others around us.

Yes I think we'll finish in the top 4. But to ensure that we're challenging for the title we need another top CB and decent DM and a CF to complement RVP <ok>

Yh I agree with Point 1 however I feel last season was arsenals big chance as the big 4 were not as strongbas they normally are and also next year the top 4 cannot be as bad as last year

Point 2 which young players made a breakthrough I can only think of one wilshire who I believe is a little bit overrated because he Is english don't get be wrong he will be a good player but I don't believe he will be a world class player. However I believe Ramsey can become a world class player and I think he will have a good season next year.

Point 4 I agree with you about ferguson but I believe if you get the right man in we should be alright, it's not going to be easy, I'm not too worried about the debts yet!!!! However I do believe if do ever get into difficulties the man utd brand is so big someone would be willing to buy us.
Ps: I don't think our finances are that bad

The transfer window has been open for all of 12 days. Give Wenger some time. Everyother year people asked the same question and I would laugh it off but this season may be different. Nasri, Cesc and Clichy may be off. IF they do go I think Weneger will be out priced for the top quality replacements (except for Clichy). With Liverpool looking good and already strengthening then who knows.

Arsenal always seem to have the same problem. You need a top quality goalkeeper and defender. They you need a solid centre mid and another striker to go up top. Look at Utd (I hate them) they're losing van der sar and replcing him with de gea who's a quality keeper who's gonna be around for another decade yet! Arsenal should go and buy Igor Akinfeev, Mamadou Sakho, Phil Jagielka, Tom Huddlestone, Marouanne Fellaini and Darren Bent. All quality players that would add something to the team. For some reason though wenger is obsessed with building a young team that wont win anything for years which is why the likes of fabregas and nasri are looking to leave.

Just because he plays for spurs doen't mean he's not any good. I can guarantee any of you gunners would take van der vaart in a heartbeat.

That is a bunch of cliched nonsense followed by some FM signings. Try watching us play more than 5 times before giving your answer to how we can win a trophy.

It's not because he plays for Spurs. If you'd mentioned VDV in the first instance then it would have been a valid point. But you didn't , you said we should be trying to sign Tom Huddlestone <laugh>

Jeez, the transfer window has only been open for a few weeks. If you made this point in August then fair enough but at this moment its a load of rubbish.
