I'd like to see what Ilori has to offer but he should have been tried already, we shouldn't be throwing him in for a tough away fixture like this. Kelly is a good shout but I think BR will persist with Flanagan in a back four. Middle trio of Lucas, Allen and Alberto with Moses, Sterling and Suarez up top. We'll lose too.
Ilori played today for the U21's and his positional sense was awful, he got caught out for pretty much all three of their goals. But you can see the talent there, quick and good on the ball, but I honestly don't see him as a CB.
Spurs have the last of their UEFA Europa League Group Stage matches on Thursday at the Lane against Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala. But as Spurs have already won the Group (five wins from the five games played so far), I'd not expect any of the players who will start against Liverpool on Sunday to feature in the game, although I'm sure a few will be on the bench. Danny Rose may well start on Thursday, as he's been out injured since 19th September. We've still got a few players sidelined with injuries, such as Vertonghen, Chiriches, Eriksen & Adebayor but hopefully one or two of them might be able to play on Sunday. I feel that we should COPY everton. after all i literally begged on this stie for 4-5-1 v arsenal at the time and there was everton giving it to arsenal with a high pressing game but also layers of defense.
