There was a you man, Jake Humphrey,
Who used to present the Grand Prix,
He's now switched sides
And is enjoying the ride
Of presenting BT Sport on TV.

Oh score Norwich Score Norwich Score
Once we get one we want more
With Hooper on fire
And Wolfswinkle's desire
We'll never stop singing for sure

We have a striker called Hooper,
He's become quite a good shooter,
Just one chance he'll need,
So Hughton take heed,
Or you may end up with the loofah!

His brief's to develop a team
For prolonging our Premier League dream
So let's give Chris full backing
Talk less about sacking
While he turns half-and-half into cream

Doncaster led us down a blind alley
Our prospects were worse than Death Valley
But the man that we craved
Our football club saved
We are grateful for David McNally

Yes I can, and very glad to see you back again Chris, I´ve missed you from the prediction leagues too, hope all is well, and maybe you´ll rejoin us.

Thanks RBF. I am just too busy with my new job and little 19 month old boy to contribute as often as I like. I still read posts every other day but have not got the time to get drawn into the Hughton in/out debate that takes over virtually every thread nowadays. Whilst I used to love doing the prediction leagues, it was a case of taking away from something else so that had to give for the moment too.

Top work Kent. I was trying to think of a David McNally limerick but you beat me to it. Yours is far more entertaining than the couple of lines I had sketched out yesterday! <cheers>

It's Fer to say Hooper's the Bhoy
Who's going to bring plenty of joy
With Pilks, Redmond and Ricky
And Snodgrass so tricky
There's many a defence they'll destroy

I can understand Chris, just noticed that you suddenly vanished, that´s all, all the best.

There is nothing that rhymes with Josh Murphy
So it's lucky there's also Jacob Murphy
These brilliant brothers
Are better than others
If only for this poem there were three!

Our club used to dilly and dally,
Over signings we'd shilly and shally,
All that's in the past
We're decisive at last
And the reason is? David McNally!

Our football club manager Hughton
Sent out a cup team that weren't shootin
We once were giant killers
And we've seen some thrillers
But we came up short against Luton.

With to many good players to list
A few favourites are sure to be missed
They may not be appeased
But we all should be pleased
With the FINE club that we have been blessed.

Our problems were mostly defensive
Which Hughton found very offensive
So he stacked up the back
Messed up the attack
Leaving fans deranged, hypertensive

I love going to Carrow Rood
I'd go everyday if I could
I cheer at the games
Know all the players names
Must be cus I'm Norfolk 'n good.

Super Hooper goals you’ll score a plenty
Now you’re fit and well
I wonder will you get close to twenty
Wouldn’t that be ‘just swell’??

From Newmarket road to the nest
Our club did evolve with much zest
We were a small team
That had a big dream
Carrow Rd is now Anglia's best

A team win has the feeling of magic
A loss can sometimes be tragic
Though my Norwich devotion
Brings out this emotion
I never will stop and go plastic.
