Morning chaps

I was hoping to bury this away in someone else's thread, but hey ho ............

Piss poor horse racing on offer, so today is Woofer day for me.

The woofers at Monmore to be precise. There is a set of qualifying heats for the Lol Jones Memorial Festival Puppy Final, and at 3.07 in trap 6 runs a nice one named That's The Dream. He is VERY highly thought of by connections, and has a majestic turn of foot, but being a puppy he is still learning track craft, so confidence has to be tempered with caution. Also - he hasn't been done any favours by being given trap 6 (IMO) although it COULD keep him out of trouble, as he has very good early pace.

There is a hotpot favourite in this, who on all available form, should blitz this, but at 16-1 I'm happy to take the rfc with our fellow <ok>

When you say our fellow Reebs, do you have an interest in him?

The only one of interest today for moi is Brunello in the 12.45.

Handicap debut. Has been running fairly classy novice hurdles at this track and losing his chance when the pace kicks in. A rating of 102 surely gives this Phil Kirby horse a chance at a track the trainer seems to profit from quite regularly.

Afternoon, all. Tomorrow should be a day of huge celebration on the forum as it is, of course, Mr Henderson’s birthday. The question must be what should the forum buy him for a birthday present?!?

Really excited about him running COCKTAILS AT DAWN later in the week. I droned on about this one all last term (won’t bore everyone by doing so again) and it won’t be until he goes over fences that he will truly excel but an intriguing and welcome entrant in 2 hurdle races over the next few days.

Good luck to those wagering today.

One I like today is Powerful Pierre in the 3.40 Wolves. Likes it here and at 6/1 I will be on E/W. Will play up some of yesterdays winnings.

No Ron, just a phase meaning our, as in the forum's :)

My last greyhound went to the big racetrack in the sky some 8 years ago now, but I still have friends who either train or work in kennels <ok>

EW Lucky 31 in the next 5 races at Wolves:

3:10 - Vexxillum 4/1
3:40 - Powerful Pierre 9/2
4:10 - Sir Tyto 10/1
4:40 - Berlusca 7/1
5:10 - Kyllachy Star 14/1

If you go to the Sporting Life website, click on "Horse Racing" and look at the "Top Horse Racing News" box top centre, wait for the Racing Live! headline with a picture showing John Ferguson picking up a trophy with the Betfair signs in the background. Does anyone know who the lady in the picture is and, more importantly, what her phone number is? Cor Blimey say I , with a captital 'C' and a capital 'B' :emoticon-0115-inlov

I wouldn't climb over Liz Hurley to get to you Oddy <laugh>

No luck at the dogs. Our lad was 4th, caught up when the 5 dog went down at the first bend. He did beat the odds on fav though, and will deffo have some good wins in the future.

But I promise not to mention them on here! Much :D

F**k this I give up! Been beaten in a photo twice today and had four 3rds in my teebles with other wo winning at what woulda been worth around 750 smackers altogether! Time for a break...luck is awful. Over and out.
