No answer to my question about the whereabouts of Almunia. If he is well again, why isn't he playing?
That's a fairly safe thing to say Dan. After all, unlike his more famous namesake, he is only human...
Frenchie, I am going to bike the 8 miles to the training ground in a little bit in order to get you that answer I hope.
Knee injury apparently.... http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp.../10864162.Almunia_absence_due_to_knee_injury/
I am with you on that point H and I have been suggesting it for a year or so, but it touches a nerve with many and it's heresy to many others. But how else can you explain a series of young talented keepers that just does not improve?
If you watch the goals carefully the first and third he should be more decisive in coming to claim, especially the third and the second his positioning is totally wrong, as they brea down the wing, BOND has moved to almost beyond his post and then has too far to go as the ball is played back. He did make some saves and directly after i thought that hed had a good game, but when iwas asked to watch the goals back he looks very weak. However you are totally correct, for their first goal PUDIL who was playing left back wasnt even to be seen in the piucture as Mccormack breaks, the second goal i think it is, our defenders are stood in a square on the penalty spot, i would say that Nosworthy was not very good all game and as much to blame as BOND.
