Now that's some bullshit. If Jeff Triplette still has a job when he wakes up in the morning I won't be happy.
Very dodgy call that, maybe he ruled that the hit on the foot wasnt enough to bring him down and was still in control of the ball whilst going forward. When that is the case he needs to be touched again when ging down after that right?
No I mean that somebody can be touched but it doesn't cause the player to go down, does a player need to be touched again if he remains in control of the ball and moves forward and goes down on his own? Does the first touch still count? I'm just trying to find an explanation in the rule book here.Well, no, because Chapman tripping him definitely forced him to go down. They ruled there was no contact when there absolutely indisputably was.
Note to self 2: Matt Flynn is terrible no matter where and when he plays

Well, yeah, if he breaks a tackle he needs to be tackled again. Just, BJGE didn't, and the refs ruled that Chapman didn't touch him, so that's irrelevant.
Dan Marino just said on the half time show that Triplette needs to start looking for a new job. Absolutely.

And now 21-14. Would be level if not for that ****ing stupid call.

Would be still at 0 if the Bengals defense wasn't so crap, 3 missed tackles in 2 seconds
That pitch must be rock hard in GB. -13!
Haha wow, only just seen that Lawfirm TD, pathetic refereeing.
You could just about make a case that although clearly he did trip over his hand that you can't see for sure that the hand did touch him (As in, I didn't see any slow-mos or freeze frames where you can actually see the hand definitively touching him) and perhaps it was just a ghost or something, but the fact that the ruling on the field was down makes that makes it a match-fixingly level bad call.
