Some were commenting about his weight from what I recall and his lack of fitness. In that context you paid too much. However, based on his goals, you appear to have a bargain if you can get him fit and he maintains his average.

Taff: Bony has been undergoing a "specialist fitness regime" since arriving so it looks like Laudrup shared your views n his lack of fitness. His assists have been crucial and he's scoring at a decent rate if you take into account Europe. Most Swans fans reckoned he'd come good but others here said otherwise, saying they'd prefer Mutch in their side. Don't see that myself but it's interesting to see if minds have changed.
