Another Lucky win for you lot.. Aboslutely dire, yet only 3 point off 4th place. Shocking really.

Maybe that's down the 3 games against Swansea, Palace and Hull where you deserved nothing more than 3 points but ended with 9 whole points, thanks to some really dodgy pens.

<laugh>

Bring on next weekend :emoticon-0165-muscl

Thing is, though, that we've been lucky as a team, whereas you've had Goofy. We can swap our players around (as AVB has been doing, much to the annoyance of many fans), and we're still lucky; whereas, if you lose Goofy, you are royally ****ed.

Jut think how many teams we are going to spank once AVB has settled on his best 11... Jesus! It hardly bares thinking about!

I doubt AVB will ever have a "best 11", he's clearly a man who likes to rotate, which he has to to main freshness.

Hope Gerrard doesn't play as Liverpool are a little easier to beat without him. Although I wished Coutinho and Suarez were injured too! Going to be a nervous game for me!

Gerrard is out with a Hamstring injury. But no fear - Coutinho and Suarez will tear you a new one <ok>

If we lose Suarez, we have Sturridge who's been scoring at just about the same rate. In Suarez's absence Sturridge kept banging em in, and now that he's injured, Suarez is having his fun. A luxury to have I might say than you lot. Defoe and Solpenaldo...lmao.

Oh and 15 games in and you're telling me your coach still doesn't have a clue about his best 11?
talk about spanking, couldn't score more than 2 goals in any game so far, even stoke managed that the other day :emoticon-0136-giggl

"Gerrard is out with a Hamstring injury. But no fear - Coutinho and Suarez will tear you a new one"

If you think them tearing a new hamstring for Gerrard will please Spurs 606, feel free to do so.

It's a real shame we'll go into the games v yourselves, Chelsea and City without Gerrard, Sturrudge and Enrique (most likely). They all add a lot to how we play.

Think you'll be ahead of us come January, but we will spend.

Stop getting excuses in you little, green, wrinkly man :p

Next weekend could go either way, in my opinion. Our highline will suit you and I'd actually prefer it if Sturridge was fit for you guys as I think the 352 would play into our hands just as it did with Arsenal.

I think that we'll spend too, MY. The need for a left-back is utterly transparent and I think at least one other signing is necessary too, perhaps more if there are any departures.
Replacing Gomes with someone who can actually challenge Lloris for his place and play well behind a high line would be the most obvious choice, for me.

Spurs have been dull to watch all season, they have been lucky and extremely ineffective infront of goal.

However, I have a horrible feeling that next weekend is going to mark a change in their fortunes. I really hope im wrong

"However, I have a horrible feeling that next weekend is going to mark a change in their fortunes. I really hope im wrong"

Wrong as in that their "luck" runs out ??
Or wrong that the "dull/ineffective" football is just a temporary blip, and the true ability of the squad
will now show thru (in which case tis very much OTHER clubs whose "luck" has run out) ??

I'd rather 'visions of the force' than 'excuses'...

I can see you looking to get a left back but not for a big price... There'll be a reluctance to spend following the summer, surely?

It appears we want another 1-2 players who can make an immediate impact.

:D <ok>

I think the money's there if we want to buy, we've been trying to secure Halilovic for a big price and also we bid about £20mill more for Willian than we ended up paying for Eriksen. I agree that apart from a left back I can't see us going for anyone unless we sell any important players. If a good player becomes available that might change but otherwise I think we'll wait until the summer before investing significantly in the transfer market again.

'Pool have got a tricky fixture against either Mansfield or Oldham in the Cup.

Can see an upset on the cards, perhaps another repeat of the Brentford Town debacle.
