    Would people be happy with Sol Bamba as the defensive mid. That way all his defensive lapses wont be punished as there will be cover. It will allow him to get the ball down and play with it like he does at the back and scares half the stadium to death

    Bamba would be a good shout in Def Mid but I doubt thaat will be happening.

    I'm fairly comfortable with Bamba at centre back.

    Bamba as a holding mid is an interesting idea actually. He's certainly strong and can tackle. My issues would be he'd have to be disciplined and not think his change to a midfielder would be an excuse to get forward constantly. I think wherever he's playing he needs to learn not to overplay it or be overconfident. Defending is his first job.
