Pontypool
Tonights team

Marshall
Theo Caulker Turner John
Whitts Medel Gunner Mutch Cowie
Campbell

Subs: Lewis, Connolly, Hudson, Cornelius, Kim, Noone

Thoughts?

Very defensive imo, no width either. Where's bellers? Why aren't we starting our best players i.e. Kim, Bellers, Noone

Think its going to be a very long night........

Thanks Nat

Gone even more defensive. Expecting a much more physical game perhaps.

Only 6 subs?

I assume Taylor is injured unless no. 7 on the bench.

Ive just seen that line up.

Unbelievable.

No width. Shocking.

0 - 0 half time.

Lets hope the defensive line up lulls them into a false sense of security then we bring on Kimbo, Corney and Noone and tear them apart.

I can wish can't I?

That was a perfectly good goal. Gunner not up to the pace and chasing shadows then playing the goalscorer onside.

Luckily the linesman messes up. Terrible decision!!! But not for us.;)

Gunner was superb end of last season. He is struggling big time. I havent a clue why he has been selected and why this line up is so negative.

If it was Man City fair enough. But this is a struggling Stoke FFS.

Very surprised when I saw the team. Not a combo seen before. Hope it is with a view to throw cornelian and two wingers on for the last twenty.mutch seems lively so far.

I said we needed 4 points from the 2 away games.

That's the easy bit done.

Credit where it's due as well, very good win for the Jacks tonight. <ok> No strikers and still score 3!!!

I reckon Malky will go for a more attacking line up next game.

Maybe 8 -1-1
Rather than 9-0-1

Seriously may as well play Hudson and Connolly.

Not too unhappy with 1 point but that line up was negative even by Malkys standards.

Lose on Saturday with a similar negative line up and the song wont be right as maybe he wont have a riot on his hands.

Can't see much changing, MM is always going to set up like this and go for the draw.
Dreadful to watch though.

* At away games that is.

Apart from Swansea from 10th down we have all those teams to play at home.

Swansea is a very winnable away game as well.

Problem is Malky has to start playing for wins.
