Embarrassing result for Moyes, being undone by his old side and going 5 points behind them. The Blue Mousers have played more attractive football this season, too. I find it hard to defend Villas-Boas after that game and his strange choices, but can we expect a media campaign against the current Man Utd manager, as they're below us in the table?
There will be Moyes apologists (taking the biggest job in the PL in the wake of the greatest league manager ever etc) . Which is true.
I'd agree with them, RDBD. The press don't seem to have the same restraint over other appointments, though.
"Might make life easier for himself if he could get a decent run of performances from the side." A decent run up to the start of Xmas, and top 4 clashes elsewhere could find Spurs in a very healthy position. It doesn't change the fact though that he is clueless about dealing with the lesser teams.
To be fair to Moyes, from the highlights atleast it's unbelievable they didn't win. De Gea was awful for their goal too, bursting out of his goal when the angle was narrow and getting beaten whilst he did little more than flail a leg.
On paper the game looked more even, which implies that the BBC edited out Man Utd's opponents from the majority of the game. Again...
Massive **** the Southampton steward that grabbed Kozak to try and stop him celebrating with the fans. The player's the ref's job his is the fans. Great strike by Delph, should be an England international as I've said for awhile.
The only way Villa players get picked for England is if they sign for one of the Manchester clubs. Barry, Milner, Young - all suddenly became England quality when their post code changed.
