I had a text from a friend today regarding Schneiderlin's injury. I sincerely hope that he has been misinformed! We shall see!
What did the text say? I think play wany. Morgan likely to be out and if not serious will need to be rested. Don't want both our CM pairing out at same time. Cork in for schneid (or maybe Davis?) and same up top. Maybe play jrod osvaldo and Lambert together, resting JWP? They looked lively against swansea.
We coped well without Wanyama against Villa as well. Which one has a better midfield? I think Wanyama will give as an added edge over last time and increases our chances of 3 points. If Morgan is out though it would tough to leave him out and go with a completely new DM pairing. I'd rather change one only.
That suggests we are going to find out how deep the quality of the squad is. It's better to find out now.
Think we have some decent players to step in, but rather we didn't have to replace two in one match We have used the fewest number of players so far, but starting to get injuries now.
With the injuries piling up, I'm starting to think that the chainsaw juggling should be cut from the training regime.
Only a couple of weeks ago I was thinking how lucky we've been with injuries. Now it just seems some cruel timing has kicked in. Still, I have little complaints about this campaign so far, its been nothing short of great!
On the topic of Wanyama, does anyone else think he looks like he's going to fall over the ball every time he gets the ball?
Looks like he's going to concede possession most of the time, I find myself shouting 'pass it' before he's even got it!
Ha, sometimes. Was saying the other day, once he loses his balance he can go over easily. I'd not fancy Wanyama falling on you on the pitch though!
