1769 makes 260,000, though I didn't catch the buyer. The next batch of mares in foal to him will go through the ring in about 2 hours.
1806 did not meet her reserve, only reaching 240,000 1812 made 650,000 sold to Julian Dollar of Newsells Park Stud.
And the final mare to be offered in foal to Frankel, Lot 1819 sells for 475,000 to Blandford Bloodstock. Now that there are no more mares left to sell in foal to him at public auction, I will update the Frankel thread.
Thanks Princess. Watched the last few in foal to Frankel. Any idea how much those mares were worth not in foal?
Immortal Verse just broke the Tattersalls mare record, selling for 4.7million to BBA Ireland. Ron, it's hard to put a price on those mares, unless they've previously passed through the sale ring.
Ron, DORCAS LANE was sold in Nov 2011 for 475,000 gns and tonight she went through the ring with a bellyful of Frankel baby and made 475,000 gns.......doesn't seem like good business to me! Not sold!
