As I've said on our board. It must have been a stroll in the park for Ramsey today the way you made him feel so comfortable in your stadium. Rookie mistake.

Very true - at 0-1 down, any team in any game is always in it and we deserved a goal for the efforts. The way Campbell got up for that header alone deserved a better fate. I will say that apart from that effort and his non stop attitude, he didn't do a lot else - his first touch was very poor yesterday.

The fact is, we need to accept that if we deserved the one, they certainly deserved the other two they got, no matter when they got them. Apart from a 15 minute purple patch after the break, we were clearly second best.

The result was nothing other than what most of us honestly thought would be the case. Predicting a win in the prediction league doesn't necessarily mean you expect it.......<laugh>

Yeah because the hate you met him with really made a difference.

He's absolutely world class, he was everywhere. Why does it matter to Swansea fans what we did anyway? Are you getting jealous you might lose your (imagined) status of everyone's 2nd club? Are we not behaving the way you told the PL we were going to?

As Wenger said the reaction of Ramsey and the fans was Classy.

On a separate point Medel let Ramsey run for the first goal. He did the same against Evra last week and was very sloppy in possession first half. How many more goal costing mistakes before he is dropped? He's a defensive mid. He can't keep switching off at the cost of a goal a game!

Naive to think the result might have been any different if we hadn't put our hands together for him, how did that work out for you?

Respect to the Cardiff fans for the way that they applauded Pat Rice and the way in which they applauded Aaron Ramsey. Us Gooners realise what a gem we have with Ramsey and it's really good to see the Cardiff fans giving him the respect he deserves and Ramsey returning that to the fans. If only we could say the same about RVP, who chose to take a pop at Arsenal a couple of weeks ago after he scored against us. That's the difference between a player with class and one who is only interested in himself.

I enjoyed the game irrelevant of the scoreline. What we witnessed yesterday was a bloody good performance against the best team to visit the capital stadium so far this season. We are poles apart at the moment and were dominated by a world class midfield and some tremendous finishing. I take heart from that never say die performance.

    Cheers piskie <ok>

    Respect where respect is due.

Strange lot the Swansea fans, they have a go at us because they see a clip of our fans giving their team a hard time (verbally) when arriving at our stadium (but apparently condone their fans trying to attack our buses at their stadium), and yet can't accept it when we show respect to a former player of ours, who gets a deserved ovation for an outstanding performance, 2 well taken goals and a show of respect back to us.

Jacks, that's called sportsmanship, a bit old fashioned I know but clearly an alien concept to you. <yikes>

By the way, an excellent performance by Arsenal yesterday (and that is hard for me to say being a Spurs fan also). They are far and away the best team we have seen so far this season. In saying that, had Campbell's header been 2 feet to the keeper's right we would have been back in the game and who knows where it would have gone from there?

We dominated for a large part of the second half with no luck and an inept, and dare I say it, cheating linesman. However, Arsenal showed how clinical they can be in front of goal and the interplay between their midfield, Giroud and full backs was a clear lesson in how football can be played.

Also, just before Flamini put us two up, Szczesny made a great save down to his right from a near point blank header. That was a match winning save for us.

Same moment Blue is talking about. It was a world class save and a pivotal moment.

Arsenal obviously deserved the win, but it could have been different.

not all jacks blue bridgend, <grr> I have often clapped an oppositions goal if it was a good goal and why not...quality goals should be appreciated in my book, I suppose im from the old school of fair play and the youngsters today don't appreciate a good game and a players individual skill. there is not many of us left sadly and its gone down hill and sour grapes. Ramsey was awesome and deserved the applause he got. I applauded bellamy when he scored a cracker against us and so did a number of jacks....Its a bloody game ffs..

I clamped both Ramsey goals, what else can you do when you see the masters in full flow.

Arsenal were clinical, I thought Spurs were the best team we've seen at home but Arsenal were 25% better.

Not sure what their full squad is like but keep playing like this they will leave every one else in their wake.

I enjoyed the match on saturday, and it was a superb Arsenal performance. Perhaps i will be vilified from what i am about to say, however, our weak link in defence is Marshall, yes a brilliant shot stopper, however his insistence on just booting the ball away, and booting the ball straight back at the opposition is starting to stick in my throat a bit. The Arsenal keepers distribution was an indication of how it should be done. Heatons distribution was also class, but he didnt get a chance. I am not saying we need another keeper just yet, however its getting close.

Marshie can only pass it short when there are people to pass to who are not marked by opponents. Other teams see our inability to win air ball upfront as a weakness. As a result they close down any of our back four who are looking to make space for a pass. We are not good when faced with a pressing game. Marshie then has little option but to hoof it.

We have got a little wise to this though and on Saturday quite often picked up the second ball when cleared by Arsenal defenders.

Maybe this will change when Cornelius starts and we can make decent challenges for balls cleared from the back. To do that it will mean midfielders getting further up the park to pick up layoffs from Corney - as Arsenal did for Giroud's layoffs. Or even going with 2 strikers to play off each other? <whistle>
