Newcastle's current form is making our game against Villa even bigger than it already looked, given the fixtures either side. A month or so ago, I thought we had two nice-ish looking matches during this particular run. But now it's just Villa.

Well, every match is a biggie if you're an ambitious side, and Villa will be a different game to the last two, even if they try to make it just as competitive.
Newcastle have quietly been improving this season, and I notice the anti-Pardew noises have stopped. He's no more lazy or incompetent than any other manager, and better than most. Newcastle are a very good side, but I'd be slightly surprised if we finish the season below them.

That settles it. Gazza in goal, Moss as referee. We will win 4-1. Moss was referee in for Villa at home last season!
