Leverkusen have been a bit disappointing in Europe you have to say although they did take 4 off Shakhtar, probably more suited to the Bundislega style and one of the few teams to have taken anything off Bayern this season. Frankfurt and Frieberg both won away in Europe tonight and they are sitting 3rd and 4rth bottom, to say outside of Bayern and Dortmund the Bundislega is championship level is absurd, ignorant and typical English arrogance. The statement clearly shows someone who doesnt watch German football EVER, and is probably just raging that the German team is different class to England. Dortmund and Bayern are head and shoulders above the rest, but they are head and shoulders above the majority of Europe and it doesnt mean the rest of the league are bad.

I don't have much of an opinion about German footy barring that I think there isn't a great team in all of Europe. English and Italian teams are poor. Barca are aged and too reliant on Messi. Real have Ronaldo but nothing else that I'd be terrified of. Dortmund have lost Gotze and Kagawa and will lose more this Summer. Bayern seem stocked and the best team in Europe BUT no one's ever repeated the Champs League win the following year.
Reus is better than Kagawa, that was great business selling him and getting Reus for cheaper. Kagawa misses far too many chances. They actually strengthened their squad despite losing Gotze by bringing in Mkataryan, Aboumeyang and Sokratis. Lewandowski might go but cant see any of the other big guns leaving unless Barca offer stupid money for Hummels which I doubt will happen, think they want the boy Martinez from Sociedad. Dortmunds best 11 is the only team in Europe who can really give Bayern a game consistently. The other day there was the first time Bayern had beaten Dortmund in the league for nearly 4 years, which tells you how good Dortmund are, and the only reason they beat them is because Dortmund were missing half the team. And they were actually still the better team for the majority of the game, Lewandowski never took his chances tho and it was never a 3 nil game in a million years.

I live in Germany and watch the Bundesliga every week. Can't hold a candle to the Spanish league (although I do agree that the premiership is even worse). You are right about the financial structure being sound and the stadia full though.
This is going to sound like sour grapes but i'm reading a few reports of the game last night that i'm completely baffled by. The Steelers conceded a TD in the Ravens first drive but didn't come close to conceding another TD in the entire game. Their defence was sluggish stopping third down situations from non scoring positions which explains why they gave so many field goals away. If they played again tomorrow i'd pile into the Steelers. They were dominant in the final third of the game. Scored TD's at will and would have won the at a canter had they not made the errors in the first half with the Ravens TD and a farcical field goal attempt of their own which the kicker didn't even connect with because his swing was too early (something i've never seen it's that rare). Even with that they had chance to tie the game and take it to over time but dropped the ball when they should have held onto it for a 2 point conversion.
