The special relationship thing makes me laugh. I was talking to some Celtic fans at the weekend and they genuinely thought that Barca would go easy on them because of it. I tried to point out to them that Barcelona then must have an even more special relationship with Ajax. Cruyff, Michels, Van Graal, Overmars, Laudrup, Litmanen, Kluivert, Neeskens, The De Boers, Ibrahimovic and on and on and on. Without having a go I think Celtic have certainly moved backwards since last season. Not really surprising given the fact that they sold basically the spine of their team. The only replacement that was arguably better was the Dutch centre half who to be fair is meant to be okay although he certainly didn't look too impressive last night.
