Liverpool nor Spurs will finish in the top four in my opinion, it will be the same old.... United, City, Chavs and Arse in any order.
oh dear, a 6-0 drubbing and reading this thread it appears the chickens have come home to roost for HIAG no matter what horseshit he tries to concoct. Thats why threads like this should never be done. Eventually they will come back and bite you in the ass. We've had a horrid time since 2010 but we were/are eventually going to halt the decline and turn the ship around given our size and revenue potential. Thought you lot would have learned though. Remember "Mind The Gap" anyone?
In case you hadn't quite grasped it, this thread was started for no other reason than to wind up you and your somewhat over sensitive mates on here. At that, it seems to have been remarkably successful!...
Couldn't resist doing the same, could you What makes it funny is how you guys periodically show up when you think you're doing better than us. It shows 2 things, how much this thread really bothers you and how you still get overexcited at the first whiff of a good season. If someone bothered to collect the data I'm sure we could plot an interesting graph of bitterness against deludedness(yeah it's a word ) for each of our friendly Scouse visitors. Lets face it the stuff was really stirred up between us when you guys thought you'd overtaken us because you'd signed Henderson and Downing. That will never stop being funny whether you finish above us in the near future, or not
Don't think you can lump us all together... A lot of fans (myself included) would still be surprised if Spurs finished below Liverpool. I'm waiting for our form to collapse. I've had no faith in our side's consistency since Rafa's penultimate season. And Spurs have a lot of new players. If they all struggle at the start (which is seemingly happening) it'll take them time to come out of it and into good form, because they have to do it as a group. That's why your summer transfer policy of 'sign anyone decent who's available' was a little dangerous. Maybe should have stuck to Paulinho, Capoue, Chiriches, a striker. EDIT: Eriksen struggling for consistency is no surprise. There's a reason he's gone from a cert future Barcelona star to being left alone by the clubs that have been scouting him for years - Barca, Liverpool, United etc. Even Milan (in their current state) didn't push the boat out for him, preferring Kaka's return.
Christian Gross is available and im sure a spud legend like him would help save the spuds if you asked him nicely, he would need to get rid of the laughing stock in the squad though and Lewis Holtby will be the first one gone.
Oh I wasn't generalising, I was just saying that those that come on to our board to to gloat disappear again for most of the season. We've heard the samething from the same fans every season since we finished above you. At somepoint they're going to be "right", it's the law of averages, but mostly what they show on here in their brief(so far) appearances is how much this thread has wound them up and how desperate they are to get one over us. I know there's reasonable Liverpool fans, it's just that the others are the loudest and have come up with some funny stuff before. It's the same users each year that do it to themselves.
Think you're putting to much emphasis on what this thread is not about YV, stop being so serious, I mean its hilarious that Spurs fans on this thread still watch Bread and Harry Enfield and play Cilla Black records, its amusing also the way our past successes are looked upon as taboo, not surprising really as Spurs supporters would love a trophy cabinet as full as ours.
Did somebody mention Christian Gross? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/champions_league/2457621.stm
