Btw, check out these two songs. My cousin plays bass in the band, they are close to getting their breakthrough. They were the opening act for Paramore a couple of months ago! Any good? :)

Aye it's pretty much the same. Alot of people i know listen to the music and that list. US pop and bland r'n'b acts make up alot of the charts- Lady Gaga, Rhianna Beyonce, Kesha etc and you can't avoid them as they're on the telly & radio alot. The Hives are from your neck of the woods aren't they? I'm sure they had a few hits a few years a go and put on a decent gig.

I prefer old guitar stuff from 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s. and early '00s (Libertines, Coral, KOL, Cribs, Bloc Party), Ska, Reggae, dance stuff.

I am sure you have heard most of them, even though you might not recognize the name :)

    For example
    Europe- The Final Countdown
It's more or less impossible that you havn't heard that one :)

Yeah i've heard of quite alot of them. Erase and Rewind, Beautiful Game by the Cardigans were goodish songs in the 90s and they did a song with ther Manics recently. Swedish House Mafia have alot of press cos of Pharrell doing a song with them.

Really not my kind of music, but they have some catchy tunes

This one is played at every party right now, getting kinda tired of it but the tune is catchy, as I said before. And it has got 11,7 million views in less than 1 month.

the day before we played at wembley, they kept playing the final countdown on the local radio..brings back great memories, mainly of me getting sent home from work early, for being less then useful that day, even tho they worded it slightly differently..
