  1. Still think it was a yellow card offence?

  2. He got the ball but modern rules isn't about that. The lad was off the floor and therefore not in control of the tackle. IMO, there was nothing wrong with it but modern rules say different.

This 'mighty leader' has never said 'next year is our year' since 2002. And since some on your board are already saying Jammyjism is a better player than Gerrard, on the basis of two goals at Sunderland, I'd go easy on spouting that we make fanciful claims about players.

Despite Tobes' opportunistic derision of the point, I still maintain that Suarez has effectively become an outlaw to the FA and its refereeing officials, The non-penalty at Norwich last season, the booking for diving at Sunderland when he was clearly fouled, and countless other incidents too (including a blatant stamp on him by Huth that was overshadowed by a patently comical, exaggerated dive born of utter frustration which gained all the press coverage) are all indicative of an FA that curries favour with a media that its terrified of by colluding in the 'let's get dago scapegoat' charade.

....or it could just be that he's reaping the crop sewn by his previous cheating, snide behaviour

The boy who cried wolf & all that....

But I'm sure the conspiracy theory is a much more palatable alternative, so carry on.....

Don't steal my line! It is all about reactions anyway. <whistle>

Wasn't there another contentious one with Kyrgakious and Fellaini I think? Where both went in two footed and one got a red and one didn't? i was trying to find it but couldn't remember.

The Greek went in 2 footed, Fellaini jumped to avoid his wild lunge & then jumped on his leg on the way down, but managed to smash his ankle to pieces in the process. The Greek saw red & Fellaini saw a stretcher & was out for months.

I remember it was a weird one where the replays it looked like to men just went straight for it and both came out a bit worse for wear. Big Soto was a weird player for us, one of those cult heroes.

The Greeks tackle was a shocker, but so was the retribution stamp by Fellaini, that backfired on him.

The Everton u18's were involved in a couple of bad challenges on our lad, Chirivella today - rightly sent off on this occasion. <ok>

Didn't see BCR's post earlier - watching that video is sickening.

Credit to Chirivella for not making much of the first challenge but that second foul is just disgraceful.

These things happen I suppose, and the ref rightly send the player off.

No, a conspiracy is by nature covert. There's nothing covert about this: only the (willingly) blind cannot see this relentless campaign by the FA and the media, and it started WELL before even the Evra business. But even if you were right (and you're not) it still doesn't give a referee the ****ing right to amend his decisions based upon the popularity of the player involved. How you all howled, understandably, when Ferguson's header against Villarreal was ruled out by Collina for what could only have been his reputation. Now imagine having to put with such incredulous decisions on a weekly basis, and lapped up by the FA as they have a bear-baiting, box office draw for the mob to poke with sticks. You'd ****ing cry more than wolf.

And since the thread has become a list of non-sendings-off, don't forget that Pienaar attempted to amputate Mascherano's leg and got away with it in the same game that Kyro was sent off for letting Fellatio stamp on him, but we still won that game despite playing with ten men for over an hour. None of the wailing that followed the Rodwell ludicrous sending-off.

Oh please, you've got some form of delusional persecution complex mate.

He's had a few calls go against him, due to the fact that he throws himself to the ground with his arm raised "I've been snapped here" pose & his pain racked facial grimace, virtually every match he plays ffs. Refs have been conned by him previously & they're now quite rightly wary of accepting an incident involving him at face value.

It that that's lead to some calls going against him, not some imaginary anti kopite 'campaign' in the corridors of the FA.

It's simply a case of reaping what you've sewn, no matter how much you'd rather dress it up as something more sinister.

So in your view, and that of others like you, Suarez will always be punished, again & again for an offense he committed years ago, no matter what the circumstances and never judged on the current incident?

Glad you're not the Justice Secretary. Nobody would ever leave prison.

    <ok>

There might not be a collective hidden agenda against Suarez but certain individuals in authority within the game need to get rid of their preordained view of him when he's on the receiving end of things.
