Let's put this all into perspective.
This thread was started (by me - and the incarnation before it, which also had a fair few hits) in order to try to counteract the delusional heights to which 'Pool fans were in danger of ascending, despite 'Pool's spectacular fall from grace. There was a short time when some of you Mousers seemed to learn some humility, and I did begin to hope that lessons might, finally, have been learnt. But Goofy's one-man show - helping 'Pool to punch well above its weight - has brought the recovery crashing down, and we are almost back at the levels demonstrated in the bad old days. Here was your chance to join with Spurs fans and share something of the anguish that we are currently feeling... but, no. You've all reverted back to type, taking every opportunity to mock and ridicule.
It's shameful stuff, but it does, at the very least, demonstrate that this thread, and the principles on which it was established, is needed now more than it ever was.

Sound HIAG, Spurs mini revival coincided with the turbulent times our club went through, nearly bankrupt, left in debt by our previous owners, the battle to buy the club, 4 managers in as many years,bad buys etc.
But we're going in the right direction again.

To be fair, you'll not find many fans that can carry the banter as well as I can. How many times have I decried the lack of humour on other boards. When I was ripping the piss out you Mousers on your own board, I often had cause to pull your mods up on their dreadful lack of any sense of fun and humility, right up until they banned me. Same, too, with the Gooners; many times, when I was ripping the absolute piss out them, I would question some of the childish reactions my comments would evoke from their mods, right up until the point when they banned me from their board. And then with the Chav board, again with me ripping two sets of arseholes for those boys with my drop-dead "owning" comments, and taking their mods to task over silly retorts they would put my way, right up until they banned me from their board (for the second time).

There is nothing wrong with our squad, they just need a leader. Currently, they don't have one.

That's nothing to crow about, we've shipped 9 goals in 2 games this season!
You'll be hard pressed trying to find a Spurs fan that thinks we'll win the league with our defence either but we are quiet good at keeping cleansheets when we don't fall to pieces
