He looks very promising and, to me, seems like the kind of player we actually need playing in a slightly advanced midfield role.
Time will tell though but I hope he comes good

He must be wondering what he needs to do to get a game ...whilst watching a LB/CB plaing there!

David Forde is getting linked wi us. He'll be free in the summer and was Trappatoni's first choice with Ireland.
He's a Celtic man but he's no spring chicke.....erm.... He's old.

He's naw bad, but he's no Fraser Fivestar.

Dont really fit the profile of what we should be after. Should be looking for the next Fraser Forster not someone who can fill the position for a year or two before retirement. We were linked with some German kid recently were we not who by all accounts fitted the "plan"

He also has no neck does Davie Forde, which puts me off him. Hes ok as you say....but not what we should be looking at. Maybe not a bad shout to replace Zaluska on the bench!

We should be looking into getting David Marshall back , that promise he showed at Neu camp and Ibrox in his first two games is now showing through

I agree Harry, he seems to be back to something like his form back then . I agree
with George Connolly who said in his book, that he thought D. M . was so young then
that he was fearless and nerveless . As he got older his nerves clicked in and he made
mistakes. I thing he has worked out his nerves and is back to his back.

Forde does look a decent keeper but he doesn't fit into our age range .

He's a keeper and they can play for longer than most players. Imagine we employed an illegal ageist policy in the 90's and missed out Ludo. Young Celtic would have a far poorer understanding of real skill.

Ageism is every bit as bad as racism you should be ashamed!

Thomas ageism doesn't come into , only a contrary old man could even think that
Celtic practise ageism. What Celtic are doing under the present manager is trying
to have a policy of buying players in their late teens or early twenties and maybe
sell them on at considerable profit . There is no question of Celtic ever practising
an illegal ageist policy which would have prevented LUBO joining . Could you explain
what would an illegal ageist policy consist of .

Marshall, apart for two games, was ****e when at Celtic...

Now, he'd be far too expensive.

Marshall had 5 shots to save in our champions league qualifier , Strachans first game as manager , got beat 5-0 ,next game motherwell 4-4 , 9 goals let in , amazing that Strachan still rates him . Could have lost his job after 2 games !!Mind you is there a better goalie in the epl ???

Marshall looked a nervous wreck in those two games at the start of the season . It
Was if the magnitude of what he had done and the size of the task he was taking
on had scared the living day lights out of him . May what G Connolly wrote
was right and he got delayed reaction to his games against Barca etc.
Forde is signing a new deal at Millwall. So if Forrester goes , we
wont be signing that old man Forde .

Yes. Several.

If Forrester is leaving and we go out of Europe before Christmas , I suggest he goes in January and bed the new goalie in from January to May . Don't want a new goalie playing his first few games in champion league qualifiers
