Yesterday was a defining moment for the club.

I expect now an announcement on Monday along the lines of 'no more money because the fans don't appreciate me'.

I can see it getting very distasteful....

Not sure of the finances chilts but he will want to work out how to get his money back. He'll have some sort of a fall back plan to do this. But yes i agree he'll go.

Why doesn't our autocratic owner see that fans do appreciate what he has done; and that the only lack of appreciation concerns his decision re name change.

If he or his staff have seen some of the bile, crude and offensive mocked up images etc online, I doubt he'd ever want to speak to the representative of a group of hate filled gobshites again.

It already is very distasteful.....talk of some tacky namechange which makes us simultaneously a laughing stock and a club to be pitied.

No, Portsmouth are a club to be pitied. We are an EPL club, with a great manager and every chance of a brilliant future. But we could easily become the new Portsmouth.

Back to division 4 if not lower

    Dark days

    3,000 at games

And the majority of protesters f. Ing off to watch Leeds again

With the club being a true laughing stock.

Still, Grimsby and Lincoln away wasn't that bad.

We will lose the young support

I'm jealous of Portsmouth at present, being run like a proper football club for the fans.

I'd rather all that than be called Hull Tigers.

Just think - he could become famous (or infamous) as the man who ruined City.

And he lives in the area.....

What a load of nonsense. He's not going to walk away, he's invested too much, the only way he gets his mooney back is by Hull City remaining in the Premier League.

Maybe not, but the situation is 100% of his making.

I'm sure we'd all rather be concentrating on consolidating our place in the top flight than having to resist this lunatic 'idea'.

If I change my name . Am I not the exact same person ?

Though I would rather we kept Hull City , Hull Tigers would still be the same club iv supported all these years .

    Maybe I'm thick.

But I just don't get why it's such a big deal.

Are you 109 years old and had generations of people devote all their time to you?

You know the one. Its the club supporters have followed for 109 years. Remember Waggy, Chilton, Carter, Edwards ... No? Black and amber stripes ... No?

I can see your problem. If we change the name you might not be able to find the ground. I suggest if it happens you ask a policeman to guide you to the KC stadium...That's the KC stadium, don't forget. <ok>

One of these days people will learn that you cannot always have what you want, particularly when you have no power. At that point the rational among us realise that it is then a question of minimizing loss and trying to get the best result possible.

The stupid among us continue to bang their heads against the wall because they would rather loose everything than admit they were beaten by the situation reality put in front of them.

I'm 50 mate, but you're right I lived in Oz in the 70's so unfortunately I missed one of our best eras.
