I said I'd like to see us get at least 6 points from the West Ham, Newcastle and Palace games. If we achieve that, I've 100% got Hughton's back.
If we draw at Palace it would be a bit of a disaster, from what I've seen of Newcastle we will be lucky to get a point there, Krul was amazing against Spurs, lets hope for an off day.
I may be in the minority again now with many hoping back on the fence, but I would still like him gone ASAP. My wish for someone else to come in was heightened by the anger at the manchester performances but my general opinion and lack of belief in CH stretchs across the best part of his whole reign at CR. I can only summise that he will get more time after this result or perhaps more importantly the lack of a creditable successor who we could get in quickly.
But may be we've turned a corner with that second half showing? I still doubt it but roll on the next game (bloody international breaks!!) and I hope to be proved wrong a little bit more often from here on in.

I thought we were home for that one? Not that a draw away with them would be good, but it would be alright. At home we've gotta beat them, though knowing our luck they'll have appointed someone by then and get the new manager bounce!

Well actually we DON'T "have to beat them". What we have to do is accumulate enough points over the season to reach whatever target the board have set or will be satisfied with. What all us supporters need to do is help grow the team's confidence by giving them unstinting support every match day.

If we draw at Newcastle and Palace(or worse lose) CH will be back in the crap, so yeh we do have beat Palace, that's what we mean.
What you mean is the anti-Hughton "crap" (your word not mine) will start up again in earnest. That's a completely different matter to whether we have to win that game to achieve the board's goal for the season.

Yes. However, my eyes or yours don't matter. What matters is whether CH retains the confidence of the NCFC board. As I keep saying, while he continues as our manager all of us supporters, irrespective of our own opinions, should simply get behind him and the team.

Nope it's not that simple, if we lost to Newcastle then Palace(most likely still at the bottom) most fans would be very pissed off and would find it hard to back CH and rightly so. I will always back the team, I'm always behind them but if CH isn't doing a good job then I will criticise him as well I should. That isn't Anti-CH or CH bashing, if someone is doing a crap job then they should be criticised.
But you can be critical in a constructive or a destructive way. At the ground, booing and getting on the manager/players backs destroys confidence, rather than driving players on. It makes players less likely to try a more difficult pass because they don't want the criticism. For the duration of the game, getting behind the team whatever's happening on the pitch is the best course of action. If people want to boo at the end of the game, I can kinda accept that, but it's still a negative influence on the team. If you want to be critical, places like here are ideal, or contacting the club or official fans groups which can exert a pressure in a constructive manner.
The board will judge the manager largely irrespective of the fans reaction. CH is only here until the board believe there's a better option, or the fan pressure becomes too much and the board are forced into making a decision. If the fans don't boo, it doesn't mean CH is safe, if anything booing just forces the board into a cause of action that they believe to be sub-optimal. Now if the board still contained the likes of Doomcaster and we were on a downward spiral, I can see why you wouldn't trust the board to make the right decision. So far though, I can't think of much the board has got wrong (and hasn't tried to rectify), so I've got faith in their decision making.

Booing him, or chanting "You don't know what you're doing", or "Hughton out" or whatever on match days is damaging both to the team and the club. I'm not saying you do or would do that. I'm making a completely general point about every Norwich City supporter. While CH retains the confidence and backing of the club board, supporting the club means not seeking to actively undermine the manager.

It may have escaped the notice of certain people but in our last two games we have beaten a potential relegation rival 3-1 and lost away 2-1 to the current form team who have beaten two of the top sides.
Pulis in at Palace, he's a much better motivator than Hughton, and manager all round. They won at Hull where we farted about and withered to a defeat. I'm not expecting a win against Palace. No confidence in Hughton what so ever. He's a Championship manager at best.
