Mitch Johnson's bowling was exceptional, your batsmen said it themselves.

England's batting was like England's football team. Awful in the main. We made average boiwlers look great sadly.

Carberry and Broad apart that is.

You have to feel for England's bowlers as they did there part and the batsman messed up.

So much for proper batting! Taken apart by the worst pace bowler in Australia and a second rate spinner...deary me. And KP is supposedly the "best ever cricketer" to play for England.... <laugh> The Gabbatoir is ours!

Suuuuuper Super Mitch, Suuuuuper Super Mitch, Suuuuuper Super Mitch, Super Mitchell Johnson!!

How do you work that one out considering he was picked to play?

Anyway there are no Australians playing in the team are there? I thought they were all immigrants. Where's your proper Aussie sportspeople like Mal Meninga and Cathy Freeman?

Meant in jest....he's been on fire for a year now, admittedly only in the one day game. I'm only going on what the English media, barmy army and supposed experts say....he was wayward until his first wicket, he'll be full of it now.

Playing Rugby League, AFL and sinking piss...well Mal is (Queensland Legend).

Of course they're going to say that, they just embarrassed themselves, if you make it look like the bowler played a blinder then you don't look quite as bad.

It also sets Mitch up for fall when he ships runs later in the series.

I'm half English but I aint a pom!

Isnt the general concensus that pom / pommie / pommy is completely mis-used when referring to Brits and more usually the English and it should actually be used for those who emmigrated / were forcibly taken to the antipodes?

True....but anyone with a parent born in the UK would generally get it in Aus (as I did). There are tons of Italian/Australians where I grew up and they used to get it back (bloody wogs).

Ironic use to refer to the people stuck back in the cold wet place?
