I know the above are just examples; but from reading these it would suggest that; you helped two people have revoked what would appear to be legitimate banning orders (as long as they never re-offend that can't be a bad thing though) although questions remain for me over what role LUST played in this as opposed to them just appealing directly to LUFC. Also LUST has successfully asked the police to let people take their picture next to the Billy Statue and (in some form) sponsored a Leeds Ladies player.

Personally that's not enough to inspire me to join up, but some good work has certainly come from LUST or more aptly Steve Clay. Like the website says it aim's to be an independent voice for the fans. Well it is that, but I just wish that it was made clear that LUST's membership was a drop in the ocean of Leeds fans during interviews rather than a majority opinion. Since only 800 people who have paid get to actively vote I don't think it's right to see the 9,000 members branded about so much. You could argue I'm a free member since I'm also airing my views with you but that's just my opinion and you can take that with a pinch of salt I guess.

Finally, I appreciate peoples responses to my queries on this. It's nice to have a proper discussion LUFC related and if I can think of one feasible campaign for LUST to get behind with, it would be to get the away fans back in the cheese wedge and bring back some atmosphere to Elland Road. It's never been the same since Bates & Grayson wanted it moved to the West Stand for financial and 'footballing' reasons respectively. Do that and you'll have a fan in me (McDermott wants it that way as well - said so himself)!

on the cheese wedge issue we raised that with the club some time ago during early discussions but i didnt get the impression it would happen, i think the stewarding and policing issues which are much easier in the west stand will keep dictating club policy in this respect probably for some time.

the rest is your opinion and you of course are entitled to it but mine differs and again the shareholding vote is only pertaining to AGM matters not the Trusts agenda, all members have a vote and say in that .

i have never had ambition to be on the board, always publically stated its not for me but you know what mate if offered i just might take it, Christ that would eat you up wouldnt it? :D

Like I say you've been quite good with offering responses and I've probably got some work to get on with now myself but on your website http://lufctrust.squarespace.com/ under 'What is the difference between 'membership' and 'shareholding'?' it definitely says differently to what you are.

firstly the whole point of message boards lie this is to create public discourse. I can say what I want about Leeds Utd, the owners and as it keeps coming up LUST.

No I won't attend your meetings because like many Leeds Fan I do not consider Lust to be the voice of the fans. Lust is the voice of Lust and a vehicle for you to get and stay in the lime light. If Lust did want to represent the fans and not a way to keep the lime light on you, Lust would quietly work behind the scenes with out you taking the opportunity to appear on BBC Leeds or Calendar.

I do believe that more people are against you than for you. You can cite your 9K members and your 4 emails when you were challenged on the YEP. There were more people against you on that comment thread. There were 33K at the first game of the season. right now don't get me wrong but 9K is less than 33K by about a 3rd. I'll take the other 14 thousand voices as the voice of the Leeds fans not your 9 thousand voices.

I think it's time you should call it a day both you and Lust.

And as for telling BiilyStatue to shove the petition up his backside, yeah that was a good comment

I am another season ticket holder as is the mrs and We wont be renewing if gfh don't tell you to **** off. We have written to LUFC this week and advised of this. You speak only for yourself and a rapidly dwindling bunch of those easily confused.

We used to speak regularly. But then you lied for LUST. I am One of the gone away 8000 members. Credibility you wouldn't even recognise it. Lust might have a future but not as the Gary Cooper show. Resign and let someone who cares for Leeds United and not their own ego run it. I nominate Whitejock from here.

Carry on. You have a position of some authority I am but a season ticket holder and lifelong fan. You chose to make your inaccurate statements over the last year or so. You choose the limelight. I don't chose any of that, I just hate how you took our supporters trust and turned it into your propaganda network. You don't speak for me, and I will mock you and your overhyped self publicity every chance I get.

Even someone who is a family man and not media trained should be bright enough to recognise the ship has sailed and those who believed in you are changing their mind. Please go, go now!

I no longer attend lust meetings. I have been a number previously. Not a keyboard warrior just anti YOU and I vote with my feet. As an indication of how many of the 9136 are going to turn up how many have you booked the buffet for? Obviously I am aware you will be eating for five.

Wolfie, think about what you're actually saying!

"Half a dozen of us (max) on this website don't like what LUST are doing (although we don't actually really know what the LUST agenda is), so we think our collective voice is absolutely right, and bugger the million or so fans worldwide, we demand that you do what we say and disband LUST".

Perhaps you could put a name to your dissident group. I'd suggest LUDDITES!
