Gedo made it 2-0 on the night but Ghana pulled a goal back from K Boeteng in the 89 min. But vEgypt were never going to pull back a 1-6 margin from the first leg. Nice goal Gedo though.
Good finish from Gedo - who knows if Graham doesn't break his duck on Saturday maybe Gedo will get a start against Liverpool?
If he's fit I'd start him against Palace rather than give DG another go, although you'd expect DG to score & give him some confidence, tricky one that!
Graham hasn't been starting anyway. It's been Sagbo the last few games and since he's scored a couple with hardly any chances, it'd be hard to drop him. However I don't see why Gedo can't make the bench.
Thanks for that, it was one of the above posts that implied he was playing, it's difficult keeping track with limited Internet on match days from Down Under.
Gedo and Sagbo up front would be good. Two players that can finish and Sagbo is good on the ball as well.
I think it's time to unleash the attacking intent. Sagbo and Gedo upfront, Brady Thudd Liv and Boyd across the middle.
I wouldn't be adverse to seeing Sagbo and Gedo upfront together, I think they could compliment each other quite well.
Agree with this really. One problem with Sagbo is his positioning. He sometimes ends up on the edge of the box when the ball flashes across the goalmouth. Gedo would be a good compliment because he's always there when the ball comes across the area.
I'd have Meyler in for the gyppo, going to be a battle first half, apart from that you seem to know your stuff bft.
Im on a cruise ship & in Wellibob NZ today, always at sea when City play with only ESPN as the sports channel, so unfortunately I rely on slow expensive Internet for info on the day itself!
Ah that sucks then! Wasn't sure if you knew or not! Know some poms come over here and don't realise how good our coverage is.
