Joe Hart is no better then Robbo, both have gone through spells of looking superb, both look dodgy on long shots and both been England number 1, hopefully Hart will also lose his England spot and end up being discarded from any top premier league team! Shame Robbo lost his confidence as he absolutely loved spurs and we loved him but these keepers are mental! SC will know that!

Well I am really looking forward to watching Gylfi playoff against Modric. I've got my Modric voodoo doll out and have been sticking pins in it all week. Of course Iceland will end up getting hammered, but I would love it if Iceland knocked out Croatia. Incidentally, GDS didn't score because he was in Europe. Mexico's new manager (4th in 5 games!) decided he'd just go with his Club America team plus a few others, and the result was a cohesive team who easily outclassed the all-black all-whites, who surely deserved to lose playing in that color. I watched Chile dominate Spain in Spain. Spain managed to get a late goal for an undeserved tie. They're a very good dark horse. England have done well lately against strong teams, so they certainly have a chance, but Chile have looked in a different class. Incidentally, Chile is my model of how I want a team to play: spend the entire team pressing when you don't have the ball, and trying to score quickly when you do. They'll be one of the best teams to watch at the world cup. Because they were robbed at Colombia, they won't be seeded, so they'll probably end up with Spain in their group and Brazil in the first knockout stage, like they did last time. Someone should give out an award for the shabbiest effort at pretending to be hurt to miss a friendly.
I was just thinking...in a way the International break can be good in one way.At least it will save a tidy sum staying at home instead of spending a bomb on match tickets, travelling money, food money, beer money(?).....have I missed anything?
Why not take a chance of going to see a non-league game,i'm going to Watch Sutton v Havant& Waterlooville,in the FA Trophy
It was only 18 months ago that Hart was mentioned in the same breath as Kompany as one of those players who was key to City winning the title and who they couldn't do without. But when some players win things, they get the taste for winning and are driven to keep up their standards or improve them; others breathe a sigh of relief, think to themselves "I've done it" and become complacent. Hart would seem to fall into the latter category from his performces last season and this. He's not suddenly become a bad 'keeper, just one who isn't as focused and resolute as he should be.
He has always had the clown aspect in him, in terms of being a keeper, now his confidence is shot he has turned into a bad keeper, just we won't know if its long term or just a blip.
Yeah, I saw that somewhere the other day. Some journalist had to persuade the guy not to kill himself. Disgusting.
It's unbelievable a law like that could exist. Migrant workers forced to sign away their rights over unpaid wages. Even if they aren't worked to death, they can be driven to suicide, like with what you mentioned. Hopefully this guy can find a solution but that's just a minor solution in a large human right problem which is a form of slavery.
Not in the slightest , each time he screws up and walks back to goal talking to himself , I'm thinking "what do you expect you wee prick, act like a clown and you will be left red faced"........and thats me being polite!
I can remember in the old days players would be,in some cases, lucky to get an international cap. Bill Nick and George Robb come to mind. One cap each....and Bill scored for England in the first few minutes and like George, never played again! Today players can fill their pillows with caps galore....and they don't have to be special either!
Famously Steve Perryman also only earned one cap, compared to say Carlton Palmer's 18 caps. Go figure.
...not necessarily, Mrs. Johnson was very friendly with the milkman allegedly! Mr. Johnson could well be a Jaffa and not know it to this day!
Exactly. If you're serious, then he was a very average and workmanlike midfielder that Leeds vastly overpaid.
