For the 2nd race in a row I'm backing baileys dream small stakes ew at fancy odds. The horse has ability but hasn't shown it yet and is up to 2 and a half miles today so hopefully some improvement can be shown. 3.30 ludlow
Can Mr Henderson's magic hands work the oracle on Willpower in the 3.30? Beaten out of sight 3 times on the flat for Mark Johnston but he is a full brother to Noble Prince so maybe NH will bring the best out of him? 14/1 suggests I'm probably the only one who thinks so
Looking once again to the all weather meeting at Kempton this evening with three selections. Kempton 6.50 Plough Boy 11-2 This horse ran very creditably last time out beaten into 4th by morally bankrupt who has won since from a mark of 74. Plough Boy on his handicap debut is being asked to race from 53. The horse looked more than capable in this grade and although the Hannon horse at the top must be feared at 11-2 Plough boy looks a good bet from such a low mark and could easily be a 60-65 horse. 7.20 Stomp 6-4 This horse for one reason or another I feel has not shown what he can really do and I expect that to be corrected today and is a strong bet. 7.50 Emkanaat 7-2 This horse ran well last week at the course but that was over 6f, back to what I feel is its best trip I think will prove hard to beat. Good luck all
I strongly fancy Taquin De Seuil to beat OW tomorrow and will be putting him in a nice "Barney Rubble" with Balthazar King
Oscar whiskey to wipe floor wit TDS tomorrow he will excel going chasing and likewise will do a small barney rubble with Diamond Harry surley rhe class horse in the fieldbit chicago greu is also an interesting runner
I just can't be having OW as a chaser Woolly - I've never thought he has the scope to do well over bigger obstacles, whereas TDS has looked like a chaser from the first day I saw him. I think this lad could go right to the top. But may the best horse win and all come back safely. Edit: Having said that, didn't realise the ground has some "good" in it - won't suit my lad at all, in fact they me not run him on that
Hi guys, anyone have any thoughts on the cross country at cheltenham tomorrow? Balthazar king is an obvious candidate but I also have heard diamond Harry's name mentioned. Thoughts?
Balthazar King is the form choice having won 2 on the bounce and he was very impressive last time out. He's well in at the weights here as well. Diamond Harry goes well fresh and would be a threat if recapturing his Hennessy form but that is a very big if for me. I would imagine the Irish horses will find the ground way too lively. Balthazar King is the safe bet for me, as is Have Love Will Travel here at Kempton.
Thanks, kind of my thoughts, I was with the king all week but I was doing a bit at the Reveleys yard earlier this afty and that's where I heard about Harry. Threw a spanner in the old thought process!!
