I'm bored of football, it's ****ing ****, so my attention has turned to Christmas, what with the dark nights, Strictly and **** weather.

I want to know what you plan to do, traditionally do, plan to eat, plan to drink, hope to get, plan to buy and generally what you think of the whole shebang.

More importantly, what do you think Jamie Carragher thinks of the festive season?

May be a tad premature this thread but it beats the living **** out of talking about what Patrice Evra recently said.
 
Eat turkey and drink is pretty much all I do over Christmas, spent the last couple of Christmas days with the gfs family, suspect I will be doing the same this year.

It is deff to early for this thread btw!

Time to start discussing, DFS have been going on about it for months now.

Looks like we're hosting Christmas again this year, which up until two days ago I was cool with.

That was until I found her families Christmas present for her was a week in Spain for her and the kids next summer.

And them.

And NOT me!!!!!


Not even invited to pay my own ****ing way and join them, just simply not ****ing invited. Things are frosty I can tell thee.

I wouldn't mind but I don't even want to go, it's just being so blatently snubbed has left me reeling. I can actually think of **** all better then a week at home, on my own, playing **** loads of golf.

Anyway, humbug to that but otherwise can't wait to buy the booze and cheese. <ok>

I'd be ****ing livid. Phone them and tell them they are uninvited and don't get them a reason.

I'm really looking forward to xmas this year. I know I'll spend a **** load of money but I've worked my ass of all year with no holiday so I don't give a ****. I'm going to spend quality time with the kids, watch **** telly and eat and drink as much as I like <ok>

I've got my son from a previous relationship sleeping on Christmas eve night this year for only the second time ever so I can't ****ing wait.

Plus on top of all that, I get to do my not606 Annual awards Thread !!!

Point 1, I AM ****ing livid.

Point 2, exactly that, although I did have a holiday I also had a prolonged bout of inconvenient illness (all the more reason to be ****ing horrified they have forgotten this and NOT ****ing invited me!!!!)and I am ****ed if I'm not going to enjoy this one.

Bring it on.

At first I thought it was her and her Mum. Then when I realised it was all of them bar me I kind of got a bit offended!

Having thought about it, I'm still pissed off. Quite rightly too.
Had they said come along and pay my own way I would have said no it's ok, you lot go ahead. It's just the no invite whatsoever that's really grating with me.

Caused a massive barney as my first reaction was 'don't expect me to stay at home minding their ****ing dogs' and it kind of kicked off from there.

Truth is, I'm more than happy for her to go, really I am. I do not want to go on a holiday with her parents but as they're taking my kids with them I would have at least expected a token invite.

Has she said a reason why you weren't invited? Thing is they will now end up inviting you, you will say no an they will think you're being an arse. Do you get on with her parents?

You decided on your cheese selection as yet?

She said she didn't think I'd want to go, and she's right. It's all snowballed a bit and I just hope it calms down as I don't even want to go. She just kept banging on about me begrudging her this and I don't, at all. That is not the point. It all came about from my gut reaction, I wish i'd just taken a deep breath and said **** all and stored it away.

The off hand throw away comment of me not minding the dogs kind of put paid to that though!!



No cheese decided as yet, will go for the usual though of a cheddar, stilton, flavoured white stilton, a camembert/brie, and then the one or two specials for me alone. Not sure what yet, will have to check out the cheese counter leading up to it.
