and soon to get the feel good factor back instead of all this panic with the departures of Bent and Henderson in the last 2transfer windows and Gyan's comments today.

Need to splash the cash this transfer window and maybe look to offer players better wages at the club if we are to move forward.
 
Need one mate but not sure we'll get one anytime soon still early days and by next week we'll be back to just giving the barcodes grief, by the way haven't heard much from them lately is Spanish City open again?

nah they're all sat by their radio's waiting for some news themselves....maybe the swansea defender...

shouldn't take the piss really as at least they are linked to some decent players,(even if they don't get them, it builds up their confidence for the club)

I wouldn't consider that a big signing at this stage. The lad can't break into the Chelsea team on a regular basis. How's it any different to signing John O'Shea or Darron Gibson?
 
Here we go again.

They can't break their wage structure as they haven't got the revenue to support it (not to mention the unrest it would generate amongst the other players).

If only they could.
 
Anelka is not the signing to appease fans. He'd be a crap partner for Gyan. Anelka is so square. Gyan needs players who see things differently, not looking for the obvious. Welbeck and Sturridge, bring them in. I reckon we've enough cash to sign Welbeck, Sturridge and N'Zogbia. Don't care if we only sign those 3.

Well err...i've no idea. On holiday perhaps? Can't help you mate, suggest you contact the club but i'm not sure they'll help you either.

As a matter of fact, i genuinely did forget about Sess in my excitement. Now you've brought him to my attention, drop colback and put Sess in the middle. Or, leave Colback and put Sess on the bench. If i'm pushed for a choice, i think i'd play Sess, i'd love to see that team going for it.
 
It is alright saying bring in Welbeck and Sturridge but as far as I am aware these players aren't up for sale. I think if we went for them taking Sturridge as an example Chelsea would just say no because they are aware what potential he has and with a club owner like they have no amount of money would make them change their mind.

Neither were Bent or Henderson mate but they have both ****ed off.

We need to splash the £40m we have made form both sales and make the deals happen.

£15m bid for Sturridge and a £15m one for Welbeck and see what happens? 2 bright young English players and a few bob in the bank as well. Thats would give us all a bit of a boost and then if 3 or 4 freebies and N'Gog comes (don't want him but signing the other 2 would ease my pain) in it will be a decent summer?
 
Start with a big for N'zogbia. Then get Larsson signed up. There's left and right midfied sorted. Sign Vothroyd and DJ Campbell, there's 3/4 choice striker sorted. Sign D.Vaughan (replaces Zenden in the squad) sign Upson (compete with bramble anf turner for a start) approach Aston Villa for Warnock. All the while s scouting and scouring europe for the big marquee signing we need upfront.

would rather take N'Gog over Bothroyd everyday of the week as for Campbell looks lyk wer goin for Dong-Won
 
Who's panicking over the sale of Henderson?

16m for him is the best bit of business the club has ever done. He is massively overrated. He is too weak for centre midfield, not to mention he cant tackle. All I saw from him was an ability to run round like a fairy for 90 mins crapping himself if an opposition player came anywhere near him. On the right he was slightly better but he still couldnt beat a man or put a cross in.

Let's at least make a bid for some of these players. 15m for Welbeck 15m for sturidge. Put them both on a top wage and tell them we will build a team around them and Gyan.

Colbeck in for Meyler or Catts when injured or suspended. Elmo a good replacement on the right.

Should go for NZog too as he could cover either attacking wing position.

Get bidding Bruce. Carroll, Torres, Bent were not for sale but if you offer the right money, well we have seen what happens.
