both teams have enough to just survive this season, If you think its difficult at this stage of the season then you have seen nothing yet in the second half and if any of us are needing results at the really hard business end with a few games to go then you can kiss your arse goodbye and hope results go your way....
I also think we will both just about survive. However Id fancy ours in a fight. I think the Derby showed you have players who will roll over and if you are in a battle you could end up in big trouble. If we stay up we will have 33,000 fans next season and can move forward. Swansea are on borrowed time in the top flight. Bit like Wigan.
Hilts you will still have 33000 fans watching championship football at the CCS exciting times ahead for the redbirds
we will be fine once we get rid of laudrup. he is a nice lad and all that but premiership manager for a small team like us he is not. all i hope is that we survive and we get someone good enough for next season and i'm sure huw has already got a few names down in his notebook already....we have the players we don't have the right tactical manager thats all...
If we go down yeah our fans will stick by the team. 33,000 fans watching us walk The Championship again. Hundreds of tickets unsold at the Liberty on Sunday following on from an away following of 24 in Russia. Start of the slide I reckon.
Next season Hilts if we still have unsold tickets you can still see premiership football at the liberty come and join us
we were a full house on sunday hilts, we are not responsible for how many stoke bring...and lets be realistic here there is no way you will get 33k in the championship in a million years....keep it real hilts...and we are far from the slide as you put it, we may not play to the same tempo as previous seasons but that is down to the manager and his way he wants us to play. We will be back to normal under a more technical manager next season you will see.
No thanks dont like Max Boyce and Swansea games are like a Max Boyce concert. Thanks for asking though. Hope to pay a visit to watch our lads complete the double though in February. Should be a straightforward win.
As long as Mike Dean is not reffing he tends to favour the redbirds, there is only one result a comfortable Swansea win, say 3-0
At this moment I believe Cardiff have the best chance of survival, if whispers are to be believed Malky will have big bucks to improve the team come the January window. I hope Swansea survive too but will Huw realise his Swansea is the new Barcelona thoughts are just pipe dreams.
Any Redbirds that think we will go down this season are deluded, so don't even go there, just worry about yourselves lads, we have more than enough experience and ability to do it, though it does look at the moment, that Laudrup is struggling to get the right balance of players for both Europe and Premiership, but he's on a learning curve aswell, and I'm sure you'll see a different Swansea second half of the season, everyone knows we have not hit our form yet, but when we do, it will be something beautiful to behold!..................
You are confusing us with one of your lot. It would be an absolute major surprise if Swansea were battling for relegation, but we are not arrogant enough to expect anything in football. I am sure Newcastle kept telling themselves they would never get relegated a couple of years back I don't think Swansea will be battling down the bottom by the end of the season, but there is definitely something wrong and has been for nearly a year now. I really think you guys would be more worried about averaging close to a point a game for nearly 30 matches! We knew from the beginning how to difficult the task would be for us and are happy to scrap, fight, and hope that we can stay up!
