I have to admit to some research for this one & might have guessed it would be a player from your 'era'. :)

The delightfully named Edris Hapgood - whose father was Eddie Hapgood.

Well done BB. Thought it might take longer. Division 3 (South) is where I started and first became hooked.

Since the inception of the Premier League, there have been only two teams in it that Spurs have failed to beat - name them.

Why did the Swiss government consider breaking off diplomatic relations to China in 2001 ?

Doubtless something to do with Human Rights. Did they refuse their people the right to eat Toblerone?

The Swiss probably have a problem with the Chinese interpretation of Human Rights - but this particular theme was not a Human Rights issue.

If China and Switzerland are together the problem has to be money. Perhaps China did something the Swiss do not like.

I can see the Chinese getting angry with everyone if they do not get what they want but the other way.

I know the Chinese were upset with Switzerland for taking Uighurs from Guantanamo, because the Chinese want them back and the Chinese do not like anything that threatens their communist party, even if it is the biggest capitalist corporation in the world.

Not there yet. Clues. It is not a financial issue and not to do with Human Rights (The big clue is here at the end). What is Switzerland famous for other than cuckoo clocks, watches, banking etc. ?

The Chinese were suggesting that alpine rescue dogs, St Bernards, were actually a breed of Chinese origin and wanted to rename the breed St Egg Foo Yung? (stereotypical poetic licence used only for comedic effect)...
