Enjoy the game tomorrow, especially if you are going, but even if you are watching on telly (me and my boy) or watching a stream. A few years back when we lost 1-0 (2002?) I was really plastered and a friend of a friend had a ticket for me. I flew in on the red eye that morning and got to the ground which was cordoned off by the old Bill checking tickets. My friend rang the bloke who had my ticket as Mr Plod was about to throw me in the back of the meat wagon. It was my lucky day because he was close by, saw what was happening and ran up with my ticket. I can't remember much about the game, but sobered up enough to have a really interesting conversation with Ian Holloway in the players bar after the game (my friend got passes from one of the fake hoops players). Then I got pished again.
The Canadian news media were having fun with this story yesterday - the scene of the crime, Wool, located near Reading. Let's hope we also don't get fleeced tomorrow. Shear horror after sheep stolen near Wool please log in to view this image Around 160 sheep were taken in the raid. The sheep rustling incident happened between 8am on 2nd November and 2.30pm on 4tj November at a field next to the A352 between Wool and East Stoke. Pc Adam Taylor said: "The thieves would have needed a good understanding of livestock and used a large vehicle, possibly a six or eight wheeler type lorry, to move the sheep. "I am appealing to witnesses and anyone who may have seen any unusual activity in the area. "All the sheep had colour markings and were electronically tagged. If anyone has been offered sheep in unusual circumstances or for very low prices please contact the police on 101." http://www.itv.com/news/update/2013-11-05/shear-horror-after-sheep-stolen-near-wool/
