Did they build up the chances of Celtic to the point where casual readers would have thought Celtic only had to turn up to win? I wouldnt know because I stopped reading papers a long time ago due to the rangers/anti celtic agenda. What I will say is, to "casual readers", watch some ****ing football and dont depend on extremely poor sports journalists to tell you who should win a football game.
I don't read the Rags either Eddie but the phone in the last few nights was chockers with Tims basically saying a draw would be disappointing. Will we ever learn?
We just didn't perform last night and missed some key players. Onto milan now and another must win. We can forget about 2nd place, but a win should be enough for Europe after Christmas.
Actually I think the problem, apart from the boards parsimony and the managers choice and tactics, was that we showed Ajax far too much respect. This inappropriate respect issue set in when some fans insisted on referring to the side from amsterdam as aye-axe rather than eh-jacks. Once that kind of rot sets in it is very hard to get rid of it.
I wasn't too upset with the line up. I was bothered by the approach. Still. On to the Rossoneri.....****. That's the kinda **** Roguey is talkin bout.
It was so demoralising to see us been beaten off the field last night, especially when so many had thought we should have won . I thought rather than hammer players and manager who all tried their best but because of what I said before just couldn't raise the game , I felt we would have been better served trying to show solace to each other . Eric hit the nail on the head and made one of the best contributions . Harry , you talked about Ledley been poor this season . I agree, but didn't he say last season that he had a similar injury to Brown, I wonder were the experts hoping rest would mean he didn't need an operation and that he is only playing now to pull the team out of a fix with Brown suspended.
