If we drop points v Newcastle AND home to West Brom, don't think we can seriously consider ourselves for the title.
They're opinions. You can't often be 'right' with opinions. You can agree with him. But just because you agree with him that doesn't suddenly makes his views correct. You contradict yourself anyway. Dortmund were patient and it resulted in them going 1-0 down. I apologise on behalf of Arsenal that we didn't miss a few shots first just so you could say that we scored with our 5th shot rather than our 1st.
I don't think Subotic is better than Vidic, yet. Vidic has been one of the best CB's in Europe for years and is still a great player, Subotic is becoming/ become one but he'll need another season or two to be as good as Vidic in my opinion.
christ alive, almost everyone is jumping on the Arsenal bandwagon, i would love to beat them on sunday.
I'm not going to waste my time making sure I've put "I think" or "in my opinion" in every sentence, just take it as a given that I'm saying what I believe is the case rather than what's set in stone. You really think you looked dangerous against Dortmund before you scored then? You hadn't even had a decent opportunity to shoot up to that point. Again I'm not criticising, I'm just saying that there was a marked difference in the threat you posed before the goal and after the goal and that it coincided with Dortmund playing differently. Why not add your own opinion on what kind of football Arsenal have struggled against this season rather than scoffing at the mere suggestion of it just because you beat Dortmund.
I don't think there's been one particular style of football we struggle against. The toughest games have been both Dortmund games... pretty much down to them having 10 damn good outfield players who are all technically strong footballers who press heavily. Having 10 damn good outfield players isn't a 'style' of football. You either have those players or you don't. Not many teams have no weak link. However, I'm not blind to the fact that Arsenal are highly unlikely to win the league as Chelsea and City have better first teams and squads (though squad harmony, who knows).
So not answering a question directly put to you and changing the topic isn't sidestepping the question. Okay. More to the point, you did provide an answer eventually, which is that you consider the question stupid. But now I'm wondering why you would say that when you know it isn't true. Lots of people talk about who's going to win the league in November, including Arsenal fans. Though I guess the answer is obvious. You'd rather have a dig at the board you're on than say something sensible.
You've obviously not met any Man Utd fans in your life ...to use the word "life" very loosely, given your obvious lack of one.
Well West Brom did well against you and they don't have 10/11 top players. Thanks for the input though, only true quality can stop Mighty Arsenal. I'll keep that in mind
It IS a stupid question but as you so dearly want a definitive answer . No . hows that . Happy now .? Does it give you new optimism that YOUR lot might win it ? No . ..i didnt think so . You can ask me again in March or April if you like , since it means so much to you . It doesnt really matter though does it because ...................its november . good grief.
err , touche . Devastating comeback . 1 . Man Utd fans dont need to talk about winning the league in November , they dont generally talk about winning the league at all as they are normally nailed on to do it so that is clearly bollox. 2 . they dont have to dig out diaries from the sixties and look at fading black and white photos of league winning antics. . 3 . I put it to you sir that it is indeed quite the reverse , and that YOU are the one with no life. Croyden is it ? Nice .... There , right back at you Oscar .
Funny how your top scorer would not be at the club now ,if most of your fans got their way last season
