I know the Bristol Scale is used in hospitals to describe the consistency of solid human waste from 1-7. I think 1 is the runny end of the scale and 7 the solid end, but that probably wasn't what you had in mind, BB.

Could this be something Scottish ? The Hamilton rating scale for depression risk - the conclusion being that if you watch Hamilton Accies for long enough you must be at high risk !
