HAHA I just remembered a story that my brother told me a couple of months ago, one of his friends told his gf that he was going on holiday for a week with his family and wouldn't be able to contact her, when really he wanted some time alone to play FM!

Started to use 2 tactics, one I downloaded and one made. Used the downloaded one against smaller clubs and the one I made against the big teams, and they both worked great, Benzema getting 36 goals and Ben Arfa getting 11. Managed to reach the FA Cup final against Chelsea, while the Premiership title coming down to the last day against Chelsea aswell. Lost the FA Cup final after getting screwed in the last minute by a handball goal, but managed to beat Chelsea after they were denied a 'stone-wall' penalty so somehow won the league. Made a few signings, Benzema permanetly, Granero, O'Hara and Krancjar, aswell as Santon and Bridge on loan. Got rid of some players I didn't need, but I have expected to win the league as a minimum, don't think I stand a chance 
Just finished 9th in my first season, Jonas got player of the season. Signed Zabaleta for three million. Got Jose on a long term contact. Bid £8m for Berbatov and it was accepted but he wasn't interested in moving to us. I've got £15m to spend this summer (thanks Mike) and need a goalscorer. Can't get Benitez as didn't load Mexico. Only got Kadlec and Best. Selling Ranger for two million, was on loan at Derby all season and didn't score once.
Got Zabaleta on my second season for 3.2 million, didn't do that well so sold him in January to Juventus for 5 million.
Nice bit of profit for six months. Going to rotate him with Clyne and some young Brazilian right back signs in Jan 2012.
Any striker ideas other than Gameiro who is always ****e. Fletcher did well for Wolves but they want £12m.
Gameiro did the business for me, Shane Long for Reading did a tidy job for 3.8 million in my third season.
Long does ok despite not having great stats. He went to Sunderland on an old game and always scored against me. I also bid for Sow but he also refused to negotiate.
At Christmas on mine he was second highest scorer in the PL, behind Kalinic.
